The 2021 Hype Begins...

I am extremely super top hyped.

For real.

I love Cyrodiil, its lore, style, Oblivion.

But as hinted before Skingrad has always been my favourite zone in Cyrodiil.

First time, I will be pre-ordering whatever content comes with it!

I just can't wait for it

The cover of the book seems to be severely worn.. but I don't think there's a point in trying to understanding how Daedric artifacts work. It might have been rebound by the Mythic Dawn or Daedric magic may restore it which is what the glowing emerging on the cover might be.

Yeah Bosmer are supposed to be some sort of sentry/detective race. No self respecting guard would be caught sleeping on the job. But, if it were really a Bosmer, then that would mean this can't be Cyrodiil, as potential enemies "can't be bothered to sneak around" anyplace else.

I'd say I'm moderately interested. Like, Dark Heart or Morrowind were new stories in the familiar setting - it's always cool.
Next year looks like familiar story in the familiar setting, but I'm still interested in more details.

The city in the background appears Imperial in nature, most likely Skingrad.



Ruins in jungle/marshland... could be an Argonian Dungeon DLC.



The elf has a nose ring. The return of Eveli is all but confirmed.

Where are all the people that said Cyrodiil, Skingrad? I knew Mehrunes Dagon had to be a part of this, there were hints about it, even the Razor outfit style they recently had.

The opening view could be from Valenwood over the river unto Skingrad. But what is with this clearly blackmarsh looking swamp and Argonian ruins? This would more suggest it being located in the Blackwoods. So Leyawiin possibly?

Or they do it like with the first dungeon dlc for Skyrim and Elsweyr. Where we uncover the scheme or object of power that then starts the entire problem. So the dungeons could be in Blackmarsh and be unrelated to Skingrad at first glance.

I was hoping Meridia will be somehow involved. Maybe we'll get some kind of Mehrunes Dagon origins? I have no idea what they'll do with Dagon other than rehashing TES IV

oh boy if they do any of kirkbride's fever(err..more drug induced) dream lore I would be stoked but..they wont..but If they do it would be amazing.
they wont though. unfortunately. its about as possible as bethesda and obsidian shaking hands and admitting their wrongs on both sides. which even under microsoft likely wont happen but.
Oh god I would love a surreal story line with the old crazy ass lore before it became the bland ass writing we have today.
