It would be worse than it is trying to farm furnishing mats for yourself now. Would be very difficult to get hits on on world bosses you need, would be impossible to find chests, safeboxes, thieves' troves. Please no. I already deal with that on a lesser level with trying to get furnishing mats since they are too expensive to buy now.
But then you could buy the items instead of having to farm them. Would that not make it easier?
I think you came up with the very reason Zos did not make them tradable. They want players to do this for themselves just as they want players to run dungeons to get the gear that drops in them.
Indeed. And that goes hand in hand with ensuring that people are paying a premium for access to that content. If antiquities were tradable, fewer people would have bought Greymoor in favor of paying for the antiquities with gold. Even when Greymoor becomes available for crowns and included in ESO+, that’s real money in ZOS’ pocket one way or another for every person who wants access to antiquities, not to mention more time spent on that content specifically as opposed to more generic or incidental ways of acquiring gold.

Furnishings have been tradable in the first PTS week. Then ZOS "fixed" that.SilverBride wrote: »

Well, this is why I don't go crazy farming leads in an effort to get it there and then. They do drop naturally. You will get them.
Yes, I agree. Getting the first feather was painful. Getting the second was even more time consuming and a complete waste. So I modified my housing plan to use only one and returned to the behaviour of not killing gryphons (because why should I? they are welkynar mounts).Ravensilver wrote: »There are people in my (housing) guild that have over 20 of the Void-Crystal Anomalies, but not a single Stained Glass window, or Sunbird feather. Most leads are in the old content, and old content is content that is already completed. Since it is already completed, it is impossible to get something from it naturally, only from farming specific leads.

I have a couple of the Sixth House tables. They are too big to use as a table, but make a nice carpet.
I've been pretty disappointed in a lot of the furnishings I've gotten lately. They all seem to be too big, too colorful or both. They need to learn that less can be more.
