It's normal. It's a problem that is partially Zenimax's, for making events PVP only, people get way too frustrated when another player ruins their progression and overall experience in the game. You don't know how this dude felt when you smacked all the life out of him. That feeling made him toxic to the point he sent you these messages. There is nothing special about this. He or she is totally not only one that toxic, myself included.
These people should definitely be not banned for toxicity. If it ever should be addressed, banning is definitely not the way to go.
In your case you just should go on and do your thing, ignoring people that cause you bad feelings as you caused them the same or even worse.

Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

My wife is 1000+CP and has never done a single day of PvP. Heck she is not even good enough to do anything hard. But she enjoyed collecting stuff amd housing and questing. And this weekend, she was furious over how she is being forced to do quest in a zone where she can't go 10 meters without being killed by random players. Low lvl/ max lvl all alike.
Last IC event you could get the tickets from Killing Bosses...what changed this year? Forcing those who can't quest in IC to buy it from crown store?

While I sympathize with your wife, she can do either ICP or WGT group dungeons and get the tickets from the final boss. That is a fully PvE option so long as 3 other players run with her. My wife is 1000+CP and has never done a single day of PvP. Heck she is not even good enough to do anything hard. But she enjoyed collecting stuff amd housing and questing. And this weekend, she was furious over how she is being forced to do quest in a zone where she can't go 10 meters without being killed by random players. Low lvl/ max lvl all alike.
Last IC event you could get the tickets from Killing Bosses...what changed this year? Forcing those who can't quest in IC to buy it from crown store?
I can imagine why that lowbie wrote what he wrote. Not trying to justify his behaviour but we have to look past what he wrote and understand why he wrote.
1. Run dungeons
2. Do Arena district daily without jumping down
3. Learn to look around and pick districts controlled by your alliance
4. Join a group

Are you sure it's viable for every alliance? From my experience it's doable on EP side. I haven't checked it on AD side but it's not possible at DC exit because the mobs are too far. You also have to wait a long time till they respawn.0 -

I made 6 dailies within 1 hour, when it was not primetime. Then turn in 1 quest each day.
For me it was easy: xbox EU is deserted, so you can do it at 11 pm already, and on xbox NA I have 6-9 hours timeshift, so when I do it at 6 pm my time, it is morning to noon in the US, hence the campaigns are empty.
Maybe you can find a similar timeframe where you can invest an hour to collect enough dailies for the whole week.0 -

Be a good husband and run WGT or ICP with your wife every day to get her tickets.
Personally, me and my guildies went to IC before the event started and pre-did the quests on 2 characters, so now we can just be lazy and hand in a quest a day if we don't feel like going in and getting tel var or more boxes.
There was still opposition, but not as much as currently, and we switched to the faction that was zerging after we finished the first set of quests. Took less than 3 hours to get everything ready for the event, enemy players and all.The Moot Councillor3
