Buried Harvesting Nodes

What is the preferred way of reporting harvesting nodes that are buried under the ground and not visible? I can target and harvest it, it is just not visible above the ground surface.

Bug report in game? Only thing I can think of.

That is what I was thinking too. There are so many options when reporting a bug, I was not sure if there was a specific choice. Like what is the preferred Impact / Category / Subcategory so that it gets to the right people rather than spending it's life bouncing between support teams.

IIRC - a ton of the nodes shifted / were almost buried a couple of patches ago. The only way I can still find some of them, is because I farmed them a ton doing surveys, or treasure maps, etc. - and knew their previous, visible locations.

I've actually found quite a few treasure chests underground/stuck inside walls/in unreachable areas since getting the scrying passive that lets you detect chests.

But yeah, bug report I guess.

There’s a chest near the Thieves’ Oasis that mocks me every time I pass it (which is often as the house is where I park most of my characters and I often harvest that ore node nearby on the way to the wayshrine). Maddening.

@ZOS_GinaBruno or some other ZOS people want to give us some guidance? I realize these are low-priority, but it would be nice if you threw in a few fixes on these like you eventually fix missing / inaccessible lore books. I don't expect you to fix them immediately, but knowing the Impact / Category / Subcategory you want then reported too would make life easier for everyone.

I report such bugs as "Crash/Block progress" - cause it literally blocks players from gathering the node/the chest. I also use option to attach screenshot (I use "No Thank You" addon, so I position my character near the bugged node/chest to make the picture as clear as possible).

I am almost sure that when we send such report in game, there is also "invisible" technical information included with it (such as coordinates of our character in the world at that moment).

Looks like I just did not wait long enough. From today's patch notes: "A number of resource nodes once obscured by terrain or hovering in the air are now properly placed."
