I turn my back for a second and they went for the throat. A whole twenty one percent.
It doesn't make sense folks! What monster knows no mercy.
It's not even the bonus damage it's the base ability. So you'd need like 52% extra damage to get the same burst.

    Tanks and healers been getting destroyed for years. DK lost its identity yeah i agree templar is next... NB has been destroyed i mean really what's left... turn by turn? I have no idea what is going on in this game so I'm watching from afar and enjoying many other games in the process. I'm curious where all this is going...

    It is not nerf. Damage reduction only applied to those who use frags as spammable. Aim of this change is to make frags desirable and in line with other spammables.

    It is not nerf for popular use of frags because special proc damage stays the same.

    Only for hardcasted frags, proc frags been nerfed by like 1%.

    Sorcs literally never get nerfed, this is a buff. Whenever you use frag proc you get 10% reduced cost on your next ability.

    Sorcs only received buffs. With the reduced cast time on base frags from 1 sec to 800ms, it can be used as a spammable, this the damage reduction is made back in LA weaving, and you have the option of a different skill on the bar for even more damage.
    You gain extra mag or stam whenever a daedric curse ability is cast, and as already mentioned, reduced cost on next skil after an insta cast frag.

    They didn't put it in the patch notes, but the procced frags now gets a much bigger damage bonus, so overall it's not a nerf.

    @Pinja - Zos didn't explain it very well. The fragment morph pretty much does the same damage (so no nerf). The changes to the base ability (shorter cast time and can now proc itself) made it better as a "spammable," even though the damage is less.

    That's the third thread spreading the fake news that frags get nerfed... Talk about the real issues, of how sorcs are being forced to run pets or hardcast frags for their sustain now...

    ok wait...just tested this and it is not as slow as it was and actually feels pretty good casting, and it procs itself...is this what you all are talking about? Hard casting it now due to changes?

    I was just reacting to when I'd seen they had reduced the damage by 21%. But yes, some people were talking about hard casting now with the changes. Without lag and given an instant cast reaction the change may be about 1% up and down. Due to latency and reaction times, however, it gets bigger.
