It's a shame about all these new hat models we got since Greymoor - the fact that unlike other hats they remove any trace of hair makes them some of the worst hats ever, and resulted in a lot of disappointment and lack of interest.

I wish there was a way to get a refund for this.

Funny how at the top floor of that inn by the most Southern Wayshrine in Western Skyrim has an NPC wearing this costume and they have hair, yet we the players do not.
Thanks for pointing this out. This really looks like negligence on art department's or QA's side.

More like a business decision to save money. I imagine 99% of the people didn't notice or don't really care about their hair in a costume.
The hat of the new costume makes your characters go bald but promo image clearly shows hair.

1. How would they save money on enabling one texture?
2. Most of the people who buy costumes actually care about how their characters look.
Donny_Vito wrote: »1) You'd need to account for various logic...if the persons hair-style is puffy how would your hat look then, or spiky hair then what? If you're saying they should just have one generic hairstyle that every hair is changed to when wearing a hat, how is that really different from no hair showing? Either way people would complain unless the hat would adjust based on various hair styles.
I noticed that aswell. Looks more like a breton bard costume than nord skald.
The hair missing yea, thats one thing. However......
How come no one has pointed out that this is probably not what a Skald would look like, Skalds are Northman/Norseman/Vikings. This is more in line with a Minstrel or a Bard for attire. But hey, that's just my thoughts....I do not think the Devs actually pay attention to detail or care honestly.
