Which I think would be a sort of misleading metric because some people are buying event things simply because there's nothing else to buy with their tickets and they don't want to waste them.
I think Indriks have become a safe choice for ZOS. If they branch out and try a different type of mount or product, they are basically having to start all over again taking a risk that people might like it even less than Indriks.
If they put two options in the event store to test, then collectors will complain they don't have enough tickets to buy both.

but they are still doing it and still engaging
if you want something to disappear - stop using it and engaging with it

So maybe enough people are "engaging" with it, just not people on the forums.
Also ZOS may have locked themselves out of a lot of mount opportunities with the Crown Store / Crown Gems store / Crown Crates. All those models are basically unavailable because if they gave out event mounts using a reskin that turned out to be cooler, people who spent money getting mounts would be upset or people who were thinking of spending money might no longer do so and opt for the "free" event mount instead. For a long time now it's been too easy to get enough tickets to collect event mounts so it's virtually "free" if you just show up in the game.
So effectively, event tickets have been uninteresting to me for years. Looks like a bad strategy to me.
The RGB color model can generate 16.7 million colors. Multiply that by indriks that use various combinations of two, three, even four base colors, and the possibilities are practically limitless. I can see differently colored indriks easily being featured in ESO events for the next several thousand years.
So please stop complaining about indriks becoming boring, when we haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of subtly differently colored variants possible.

you need to realize the small vocal minority that spends time on the forums hardly represents a fraction of the overall eso player base
Honestly, I don't really care about the indriks, but a lot of this seems to be complaining about free things.
