Can't log in

Was on the server for a good while, doing account clean-up (stowing items I wanted to keep, deconning useless ones, selling stuff worth selling, doing master writs, etc). Logged out to start dinner so it has time to marinate a couple hours and now cannot log back in, with the following error message.Login failed. Your username or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time. navva71Soul ShrivenI honestly don't understand why it even have to be down time. I work in the online gaming (casino, sports betting etc). No one in the company allow us to have even 1 min downtime. Full redundancy on all servers over capacity so half of our hardware can go out (brake). We will still be able to have the sites up and running. But i guess it has with cash flow to do we make more money than Zenimax. We lose millions for every hour of downtime we have. And Zenimax honly have a couple of hundred angry customers and no money loss except the ingame shopping.0 -

Will there be compensation for those who have not logged in today and not able to get the daily reward today please? That is only fair as fully ZOS fault

My personal guess is that some of the backend stuff (mainly user accounts) are centralized. That would explain why they had to do account maintenance during this outage.

NA servers are somewhere in Texas near Fort Worth and EU is in Frankfort, Germany I believe.0 -
