What New Playable Race would you like to see added to the game?

Given there is some survey that includes a new race as an option.
A bit of Trivial for those that have not played the Single Player Elder Scrolls Games.
Arena, Daggerfall, Orcs and Imperials were not playable races. Back then it was like a home brew D&D camapaign and orcs were basically like the D&D oOrcs. They changed things and retconed that big concerning the Orcs in a big way. So when they did Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind, Orcs became unique race with their unique history turned away from the D&dish orcs they were in the first two games and then Imperials were added in as well.

Since that time, there have been no new playable races. Its always been the ten races we have now.
Now there is a possibility we could see the first new playable race in a long long long time in Elder Scrolls.
What race would you like it to be.The Following Choices are based on following factors, what the Lore will support given the current time period of the game as well as what is realistically possible for Zenimax to do and some of them are furstocks and variants of an already existing race.

Maormer- are the most likely choice and the most realistic one and Zenimax has done a lot to develop them. Because of this they are the top choice on the poll. They are active during this time period and this can be seen in ports around Tamriel. Because they are more uncommon then very rare they would be a good choice for Zenimax and it would allow them to give us the new updated model versions of them. They would make a great Playable race.
Tsaesci- despite not being seen they are not a very rare race that is inbred with imperials to be half breeds and that is according to the lore. Lore wise they are not only still around during this time period and very much alive but they are also still active during the years leading up to Tiber Septim. Given there is lore that they invaded recently in Ep lands they should be more common and would be around those areas realistically and there would be a bunch of survivors from that Invasion as well. Its disappointing they never included them. They would make a great playable race because of the lore of the time supports them being in larger numbers and this is the reason why they are included in this poll.

Imga- They should be around in plentiful numbers and them all disappearing like the Dwemer is really unrealistic we already got a good idea of what they look like too all you have to look up is the word ape on google and there you go. They are an Ape like species that has a bit of a fetish for everything High Elven. It would be nice to be able to explore their lore further and I think Zenimax would do a good job with them.

Khajiiti Fur Stocks
Dagi- they are a very interesting fur stock of khajiit they are also humaniod so they would be a great inclusion. Dagi-raht are bigger versions.
Pahmar-raht- They would be a tall fur stock but I Think they would be something they could do. Pahmar are shorter versions
Ohmes-raht these would be like as tall as humans they would be mostly furless or have fur but look completely human and have a tail. Ohmes are just shorter Bosmer. Can use the Bosmer race to create one already if you wanted too in this game.
Argonians have unique variants like the Naga.
Naga is an option I'm including. Because they do have an interesting look that differs from many Argonians.

I know this is likely never ever going to happen but I would really be happy if it did.
Alfiq Khajiit- they might have to limit them from doing a lot of stuff like equaling weapons and armor and have to make their own unique armors for the models and would have to design the class skills around their unique non humanoid body models. So that would make them one of the most harder options to do. Which makes them the most unlikely to ever happen but I like them I have four of them at my home at least cousins to the Alfiq. It would still be neat to see a potential playable version of them so that is why they are included.

As much as it would be cool to play a Snow Elf, or even a Dwemer. Those races and their lore would make it so hard if not impossible, Dwemer all are but extinct except one because of a Dragonbreak and their own folly causing their disappearance. Some normal Snow Elves might be alive and in hiding but most are now the mutated Falmer like blind goblins we will be seeing in Black Reach. I considered Lilmothiit but given the unique lore on them and them being basically extinct they are not included either.

So which one out of them all do you want to see the most?

    Imga
I voted Imga as I would like to see a none standard human race. IMO I think they need to add 3 races, one for each faction. For faction lock players this could bring an unbalance if people flock to a faction for that new race. Unless they do it like the Imperials.

I would select them all!! If I could. I can see them adding new races in the future.

But they have a plan/road map of balence changes to the game already. So I think they would want that to pan out before adding anything new. But yes new playable races please.

Also making our characters any height we like. I have come across some Bosmer as tall as my Altmer...I want this. :)

But we already have Imga---those little pet monkeys that scamper everywhere in the AD zones.

But seriously, how can they possibly add Imga without adding the other 3 races from Akavari? they're all intertwined based on lore.

Nevermind the need to add an entire new continent/world space to maintain perspective and prevent game play from becoming lore breaking.

Also we just don’t know for sure if Lilimothi are dead. I see no lore source saying they were wiped out. Devastated? Yes, wiped out? Not until I see Zenimax put a lost village of them in game 100% confirming them dead or something. It is possible unlike the Kothringi they survived the flu enough to be a rare or uncommon sight.

I would like to see some races from Nirn. I think it'd be neat to have exotic races like the Falmer crawling around, or perhaps the 2nd coming of the Dwemer race. Overall, I think the game already has a good variety of races available. I think ZOS needs to come up with additional races instead of revisiting old ones however. Perhaps we're simply waiting for TES6 to launch to be able to attach ourselves to that line of lore.

Argonian behemoths are interesting but, every time i see them I wished they went and made those actual Were Crocodiles. I intentionally left out Lilmothiit because of the lore that tells us they are extinct during this time period.

Source? Uesp says mostly extinct not completely. Also it’s easy to add new lore saying they are still around but in low numbers.

The Lilmothiit (possibly meaning "one who is from Lilmoth"),[1] also called the Fox-Folk,[2][3] were a vulpine (fox-like) beast race who once inhabited Black Marsh. They were said by some to be related to the Khajiit of Elsweyr.[4] The Lilmothiit were a nomadic tribal group, and left few enduring signs of their existence. They founded the settlements of Lilmoth and Blackrose. Lilmoth later came to be occupied by merchants and neighboring Argonian tribes.[1] The Lilmothiit ruins of Blackrose were later turned into The Rose prison in a single day by Pelladil Direnni summoning an army of stone atronachs,[5] under request by the Akaviri Potentate Versidue-Shaie in the Second Era.[6]

For many generations, the Lilmothiit were in decline, and they eventually withdrew their presence on the coasts to the inland regions around Blackrose.[3] Similar to the Kothringi, they became mostly extinct following the devastation of the Knahaten Flu in the mid-Second Era,[3] leaving behind many ruins that scholars planned to explore.[2]

Even if some are still around they would be an extremely rare sight.
Then they suddenly start appearing all over Tamiriel, going by a lore prospective. They wouldn't make sense being a playable race. There might only be a handful left. They are mostly extinct. Sure they can do npcs but as a playable race no it wouldn't work.

Honestly it would be nice to have a playable Maormer race. We see them a plenty, tempest island, Summerset, and they're right off the coast of Summerset aswell. It would be nice to see what racial passives they would give them and what they believe best suits the Maormer in regards to which roll specifically they'd play.

Just like there should never have been a snow elf alive in dawnguard dlc... right. I think they are far more viable than your giving them credit for simply because they are an almost blank slate. I think if Zenimax wants to add a few lore friendly races that aren’t 21 different breeds of Khajit the fox people are one of the few viable new races if they add the lore right. I mean until black marsh was expanded knit as an endless boring swamp filled with flies. Until Skyrim was expanded on it was an endless waste of snow by fans.

I think your being creatively lazy and underestimating Zenimax they aren’t Bethesda thankfully lol.

Hmmmm well seeing as the imga are in no way from akaviri. You got your lore all twisted my friend.

Imga are an ape race native to valenwood that eso conveniently left out yet still referenced in game. They are hypothetically with falinesti or so one author claims.

Honestly they should have been in the game from the start. Even if not playable.

One. ONE Snow Elf? With a major plotline explaining how he alone remained alive there?

Possible presence of a single character does not justify hordes of the kind all over Tamriel.
