Doshia was seemly impossible to kill and hitting VR15 was party time! Huzzah!!
*** gods, Doshia .. *shivers* .. I forgot many things, but I still remember her .. the nightmares.. the nightmares
I feel like I’m the only person who enjoyed pre-nerfed Doshia lol
I'm with you, buddy. The thrill when you finally got that you could interrupt her and use AoE skills to kill the healing orbs (back when you didn't know what an AoE skill was).
Also, in my day you paid a monthly sub to play the game, so ZOS had to keep you interested in playing. Now they just need a few suckers who'll pony up for pixels and fluff, even if they just come and go to be replaced by new suckers.
i sooo remember her. died and died and died. finally beat her with like 1 life left. i had no idea what to do for quite some time. was still all confused about playing, period. new to mmos. did i say i died?
she was especially hard in glenumbra as there was really no room to kite her.
I think it was Stonefalls. Most of my characters are DC and Doshia is fought in a decent sized room, but I think I remember EP players complaining about how much harder it was for them.

You had to level up every character separately through vet ranks. Be like CP only applying to one character that you leveled it on and every other character had to earn their own CP. And there were no XP bonuses and XP was not as generous as it is now and there was no sliding scale to make lower level easier to level.
There were no guild stores.
Back in my day regions were level gated and one could outlevel a region pretty easily before even having completed it - it was terrible and is nowadays by far better.

there was the psijic drink you could buy. and pretty sure the crown store sold xp pots, too.
there was a guild store. but guilds were different. no cross faction.
I actually miss the soft-cap days. It prevented 1-Shot MinMaxingSneaky-Snurr wrote: »Back in my day.. you would be hard-pressed to pump in one stat due to what's called overcharged softcap. Hence the need for a variation of hybrid builds. ;D

You could play the game.
Back in my days, there were only 14 motifs.
And all motif books were blue colored, even imperial.
