Gloom spore crates

I hate to admit liking anything in the awful gamble boxes, but I also hate to lie. So I like them.

I thought they looked better than the usual offerings from the datamining and now that they're live and we can preview them, they don't disappoint me.

The mounts aren't realistic. They're definitely magical. But they're not obvious from a mile away magical. They look mostly normal until you look closely. And most of their bling is back in the tail.

Same for the fungus weapons. Subtle and tasteful. Even more so than they appear in the concept art.

Great job.

I may grind out some gold and find someone willing to sell me crates and try my luck.

I like the weapons a lot and may buy a couple for my main.

I also like the vampiric coronet, I think it is called.

I don't care for the mounts myself, but the graverobber costume is nice, and scored the lunar moth pet as well as a couple furnishings- the picture and the glowing plant will fit nicely in my Wraithhome. And the /lichen emote might be my new favorite emote. I can finally have a rave with all my bright fluorescent plants!

But ofc I got the senche, if it was something I wanted I wouldnt get it

I shall use it for a while since I bought it

I also got another horse, some tattoos, pets and costumes! I loved the costumes

I hate the mounts and weapons. I like the pets and costumes.
I hate that they're filling crates with emotes, mementos and tattoos now. That's all garbage as far as I'm concerned.
I would like new skins if they were realistic, non-goofy natural-looking skins for khajiit and argonians. That green scaley skin was ruined by the glowing eyes. Why can't we just have a normal-looking skin?

I bought 3 funny emotes from them with gems and I am never touching them again.

I agree. Looks like someone was knocked while holding the glow pen doing the eyes and couldn't be bothered fixing it.

There is both too much glow - it spreads beyond the eyes too much - and it's also a different tone to the body glow. The body glow is more yellow, while the eyes white.

Would have been better minus glowing eyes and maybe with a little bit of glow on the face somewhere.

There is nothing normal about the fungi apex mounts and you can see it from miles away. I usually like funky fungi in games but not as mounts in Elder Scrolls. Looks way too Warcraft-y.

The only nice normal Elder Scrolls looking mount is the Firemoth Nix-ox. The costumes and emotes are nice aswell but as usual there are too many mementos and the skins are too much. The scales would have been lovely if it was less glowy.

Anyone know if the lantern actually glows on the graverobber costume?

That blue radiant mount that materialiazes is pretty cool. If i had money and no morals I would get it.

I wasnt really a fan of the fungi themed mounts and weapons, but the Namira Bile skin really interested me! I think it looks cool without it being too crazy on effects

i really like the namira skin. i'm going to use it on my breton nb vampire. i also like the radiant senche but no way i'll actually get it.

I got really lucky and got the Senche and Wolf mounts. I love their summon animations and in general they look really cool when paired with the Mireheart skin, especially in 4k on the Xbox One X. Credit where credit is due ZoS.

I actually quite love most of the content in these, including the mounts. It's genuinely one of the better seasons for my tastes. Alas, I've learnt hoping for a mount is just gonna disappoint. I got the small stuff I wanted, so giving in to my inner spender and going for more will likely just net me a bunch of gems ffrom duplicates. I'll stay strong this time.

i'm glad that i had enough gems to buy all the cometics i wanted

and saved myself from potential roll of mounts that are fugly as 3.5 hells...again

sadly there is still no mechanics to return unwanted stuff for gems

(actually we have it, but only for furnishing items)


on other hand my wife has rolled 2 mounts all skins and almost all items

that she wanted to have from one 15x box pack this time so it was kinda...win

I am going with @raisin here: I love the shinies in the crate. I bhought some, but got only minor stuff apart from the miniature sun. Tempted to buy more, but I....MUST....RESIST....

They seem to have really gone all out for the raidant mounts in this one.

I managed to get the Fungiflare Wolf (In the Crate immediately following a normal Gloomspore Wolf, go figure), and it has a LOT going on.

Completely different summoning animation, it has mushrooms that grow underneath it (Kind of like the Wild Hunt Mounts and their flowers), and the "roar" animation has an enormous smokey explosion effect that is completely different from the normal Apex Mounts.

Also, I've noticed that the Apex and radiant Mounts in this Crate actually have a bunch of idle animations, and they will use them while placed in a home.

Will probably get the Bloodfiend skin and Falmer tats, but the rest is a pass for me. The radiant apex horse is nice, but who in their right mind would gun for that.

Does anybody have a hunch what the next crate re-run will be? We recently had Scalecaller and Xanmeer, right? I would really love to see Baandari again.

Not my thing at all, the only thing in there which appeals to me is the Graht Climbers Activewear costume (which I've already got from when it was in the crown store) and maybe the moth pet.

But that's fine with me, since I won't buy crates anyway. And I'm glad other people like them.

For me its the worst crate season. Other than the furnishings, I do not like anything else.

Even more of this glowing stuff - the game looks already quite ridiculous -. why are you people buying that, it doesn't make the game any better.

@B0SSzombie , can you please make video showcasing this wolf? Or at least screenshot of his howl, for visuals? I've read comment from one person on Youtube that this wolf has howl which sounds like lion roar, but they can't make video - and I'm very interested to hear this mount
