After careful consideration (and oh! so much deliberation) we have concluded that you circumstance sounds too much like a l2p issue for it to be just a mere coincidence.

It is OK that they have one for every day of the month. I think that is the way it needs to be. They are managing it quite nicely, with mainly cash rewards at the end of the month.

They do need to have an auto-claim option, but we all know why that big panel comes up every day.

No, No and Thrice NO ! The last few days of the month after the main reward that they usually fill in with small amounts of currency are almost the only thing that were any use to me.

Neither were the days. Those things, along with the huge stack of gold, are part of the problem, not the answer.

Although, now that I think about it.. I would agree that the Crown Crates are just going to give a random normal daily reward. Maybe they should stop selling the Crown Crates and just give out one per day.

They already effectively are. But I actually like the notion that I am ‘free to do other real life things’ which the current 21 day cycle brings. I think it is a great move.

ZOS made a good choice in the first place by having the main reward on or around the 21st day. That way it’s not a big deal if you miss a few days and regular players get a nice reward. The last few days have generally been filled with a trivial amount of AP or gold.

The days of 100k gold on the final day are well and truly over and that’s a great thing.

Daily rewards should be about encouraging players to play regularly, not obsessively.

The game is great fun, but then so is a whole pile of other stuff.

I like not having to feel obligated to log in every single day. But I would like the rest of the month to be filled out and checked off so we can see how many days we hadn't logged in and how many are left in the month. Even if they're blank, they should still be there in the countdown.

Just get rid of the you miss a day you get yesterdays log in reward system, you log in on a set day you get that days reward even if you have missed a week or more of that month.

    I voted no.

Everyday was fine and the juicy collectables that everyone really wants are being distributed no differently than any other month.

In my opinion people complaining about their network speed only took away from other people.

That's over a week where I was getting nice currencies gone because it would be "unfair".

If I still have to tell you life isn't fair right now on this day then you need a reality check.

This whole "I can't have it so nobody should" attitude is wrong.

Oh and believe me. In my life ESO is basically all I have. Trust me, my life is not nearly as great as you might think it is if I can play the game everyday. Just before I get called out.

I don't get it - let's look on January rewards from last days:

    22.Alliance Points (2,000)
    23.Tel Var Stones (2,500)
    24.Alliance Points (2,000)
    25.Tel Var Stones (2,500)
    26.Alliance Points (2,000)
    27.Tel Var Stones (2,500)
    28.Alliance Points (2,000)
    29.Tel Var Stones (2,500)
    30.Alliance Points (2,000)
    31.Tel Var Stones (2,500)

10k AP and 12,5k Tel Var - it's really such a pain that you don't get these and someone will? I usually login everyday and it's not a gamechanger but nice addition to get a small reward - even 1k of gold. I agree that last week should have a symbolic rewards, nothing unique or valuable - but it should be something for all these everyday players :)

btw There should be small amounts of crowns in daily rewards...

Its ok if they make the "big" reward at the 21 day mark and just have fluff for the rest of the month. I don't think there has been a big reward for the very last day out of the month other then the murkmire dlc for free

When the reward system was launched, there were empty days at the end. This would be a return to the original design, which I think is fine.

I think they have hit that target with the full month rewards and the last week being cash. It has a significant reward far enough in to encourage players, and nothing big after that if you miss some days. If you do play every day, you get something each day.

I play almost every day, but I don't play every "daily reward" day. I might play in the morning one day, and late in the evening the next, missing an entire "reward day" in the middle.

My impression is that they changed it due to player feedback. It is hardly a daily reward if not offered daily, and partial months did little to reward players who play every day.

I don't really care one way or the other, except I can see it benefitting players by giving them a few days 'wiggleroom' if you can't log in for some reason.

I get that players want to aim for the juiciest rewards offered up at the end of the month, but there's no reason those kinds of rewards couldn't be bumped back into a 21 day cycle.

What if your internet goes down? Or you get ill? Or you need to go away from home? There are loads of reasons out of your control that mean you can't log in for a day or two. Could happen to any of us.

And imagine how frustrating that might be, if you've been a dutiful little gamer, logging in everyday as you should, but because your Granny was ill and you had to go and look after her (imagine) you miss out on the 'Skyrim In Space' DLC offered up as the final day's reward.

I think people are a bit obsessed about the 'work' and 'duty' they put into gaming. It's very much not 'work' or 'duty.' A bit of flexibility benefitting everyone is no bad thing. It might work out in your favour at some point?

They are called Daily Log-in Rewards for a reason.

As a non PvP'er, the best rewards for me are:-
    • TEL VAR STONES. They keep me supplied with sufficient Hakeijo for my needs.
    • ALLIANCE POINTS. They have helped me, no end, to understand and learn the strategies of war in Cyrodiil. I am now at level Skill Point 8.
The rewards include items I neither want nor need but one person's meat is another person's poison and I hate waste, so I use them anyway.

Still don't understand why people scream about the trash poisons/potions.

    1) They're alright in below-50 content. Make a new character.

    2) If for any reason you don't want to make a new character or have no free slots, just, oh I don't know? Destroy the stuff taking inventory space?

Yeah, most of the 'trash' stuff is pretty useful - I love the red poisons, the food, the research tokens and the xp scrolls. I guess they become less so if you've been playing for a long time and you've got 10 maxed out characters. But hey, free stuff! I think couple of days space so ppl have the best chance of getting the Top Prize at the end of the month is fine though. :)

Exactly. The current spread is fine. Even if you only log in to get the reward, well that's the beauty.

You can log out right away.

And there's plenty of room for missing days. Currencies, ultimately, can be earned by playing anyway.

Oh! Perhaps I've misunderstood - *I* thought if you missed a day but logged in the following day, you would only get the previous day's reward, meaning you'd always lose out on the Big Prize at the end of the month? Does it just skip the day then?
