A somewhat more telling benchmark for me when evaluating a build is kill/death ratio or even better, killing blow/death ratio. But even that very much depends on what I actually do. Solo or grouped, zerg surfing or small scale...

can't tell you how many times I've trailed behind some ally group heading towards an enemy's home keeps (usually to retrieve or take a scroll) and that group will get all killed off, but, because I'm on a nightblade I'm able to simply cloak away before I can be cornered or killed...
i'll usually end up just riding around to do some sightseeing in an area I haven't visited for a while and take a break from fighting...
I sort of feel like there's little excuse for ever dying on a magblade...
It’s mostly just situational awareness of knowing when to move from the wall, to the inner building, to upstairs, and finally when to make my final stand.

When I’m playing by myself, no issue. In the once every blue moon I’m in a group, the number of times someone has said “ok, everyone res back at ...” only for me to yell “I’m still fighting!!!” like a lunatic has to number in the hundreds.

you're gonna run in to a whole bunch of goofy *** out there - cuz, people do goofy things...hell, every once in a while i'll get myself burned up from someone pouring oil (often, it's some oil with no visuals cues, but still enough time playing you should be able to anticipate that oil is being poured by the door)...
but, most definitely one of my pet peeves is when folks hang on the outside wall once the keep is flagged...unless there's a group of folks getting ready to push and attempt to wipe the enemies trying to get in (with a camp set up in the back of the keep hopefully) - once the keep's flagged it's time to head to the inner keep...
once the enemy folks start coming in to the inner keep and killing everyone i used to drop off the back wall years ago...now i just stay and try to go out in a blaze of glory (while getting hit decimated by multiple ults)...i'm getting lazier the longer i playTHEDKEXPERIENCE wrote: »it's funny, when I'm on my magblade - not dying can almost become an issue...

that's funny, i feel a little guilty when that happens...i'll try to help the group as long as possible - but, sometimes i just don't feel like dying...

I respect that. You may want to find a tree to run around sometimes though 🤣
