I am scared for next Monday. Wonder how smooth this will go if it does go smooth. Scared we might not be able to play for a few days. There will be a massive amount of downloading going on. Did they say when will this download will happen?

    Not worried, still in the air as to if I will go through with the hassle. ZOS should be worried at how many may be thinking the same thing.

    Nope, download won't take long and if there is extra downtime. I just play wolcen or something else.

    My connection is great. I am worried about ZOS being ready for the amount of download going on at the same time.

    Personally not worried. My internet connection/speed isn't an issue, and even if there is some other technical problem on their end, it's just a freaking game, and it will eventually get resolved.

    I know it's just a game but like anything if you like it you want to do it.

    With every player downloading the game at the same time, it’s entirely up to ZOS how long it lasts.

    If they’re sensible, they’ll rent a load of server bandwidth to facilitate the process.

    Otherwise it will be taking a long time.

    have you tried to download the PTS client? it loads everything like a 50% faster

    Eh, working evening shift on Monday, gonna let the launcher stay on while working. Re-downloaded the game two months ago and it took a few hours that time so.

    I had more panic before the pts. Update there was without complications for me. so im calmed down

    We had 40mb patches before with 24hours offline time and maybe 70gb with 5hours on monday...

    Let us see if that holds under the load of the full playerbase at peak times. You can never be sure about capacity issues which includes loading times on a test server with a tiny number of users.

    Not worried. But they’ve got a very short period of time to prove drastic changes on stability. If they as much as hint to more ‘groundbreaking combat and class changes’ while the eu server acts as it does, they’ll never regain what is lost on my part.

    Not too worried, be a few nights to re download the game so I don't waste all my monthly data, other than that, just hope it all goes smoothly and ends up being worth all this bother for everyone.

    Yes, I'm concerned.

    PTS is one thing, but EVERYONE pinging ZoS servers to download the game all over again has me wondering how long that process will take. I notice that no-one at the company has mentioned laying on additional server capacity for this exercise. I really hope they have and I will be the first to congratulate them if it all goes smoothly. Communication seems to have improved recently and I like their plans to improve game performance.

    The thing is, when has anything gone smoothly in the past......? :#

    Not really. I'm in the firm belief because it is ZOS it will be a shambles, but they will end up fixing whatever problems arise so no need for unnecessary stress. If its a success then all good.

    I've got this wonderful set of books. Little-known trilogy called "The Lord of the Rings".

    If I can't play I'll read those.

    Or play D&D over the net.

    Or continue with my TES fan-fiction.
