I had no idea so many people would feel the same way as me about this! I HATE this skill. I hate that it is such a BIS option for so many builds, its sound is annoying, it feels clunky, and also it doesn't feel like a "real" ability that is doing its own attack which makes it feel un-fun.

It is a good thing I have four healers and two tanks.

Clunky, awful to use in lag, and it sounds like a freaking frog. I usually go for a different option, but occasionally I give it another try. Then nope it right off my bar again after a few fights.

But that was a wind up one action. The weave / clunk of it is horrible and the mess that Overload is now

I hate how all mages are forced to walk around with staves like scrubs instead of free hand casting. I wish they would come up with a way for us to craft scrolls with element attunement of choice that allows us mages to cast basic spells hands free. Or something along those lines.... I hate using staff.

No. It's clunky and if the light attack misses, doesn't go off, lags, I lose out on that damage as well

In reality I am neutral. It feels clunky if the performance is not good. But if it is, I usually can put 2 light attacks after it which is nice

Why not force pulse? It's what I usually use when I run mag dps. The cleave is really nice.

Don't seem to get the same DPS, probably something to do with putting cp into direct damage, light attacks and staff damage Vs just elemental damage increases.
Force pulse costs more too and you have various psijic passives supporting their skills like Clairvoyance and spell orbs. I sometimes slot force pulse but end up dropping 5-10kdps straight away.

ele weap does a bit more single i think but u shouldnt drop 5k or more that must be sth else not the spell, and in trials like as or cr force pulse is definitely the spell to go

Elemental Weapon light attack quickly followed up by Mages' Wrath is 95% of the time an instant kill on normal mobs

It's not that hard to learn for parsing on a dummy, but in actual combat, the animation just feels too damn clunky.

Thats the only issue I have with it, other then that it works fine for me, I mean its not bis by any means, but its fun.
