Using a skin on my khajiit and argonian cause they're kinda bland without markings and scales.

Not using skin on any other races and I LOVE IT. Especially on my dark elf necro.

I have one character that is a vampire and he doesn't wear a skin but I hate that his tattoos are faded. He does wear a mask.



My other characters that were vampires were cured because I don't like the look and I don't like the skins.

I just cant look at how faded are argonian/khajiit patterns and even tatoos! btw what the hell logic is as even paint on body is faded by this?!
with not to mention on way also fur for khajiits..this is not skin to be pale because of vampirism, as I know vampirism never was affecting hairs, beard or something else for which also fur is counting....yet our hair colors are not changed by this but fur as non-skil is affected and again.....damn paint of tatoos like it was natural skin marks....

Depends on the character, really. All my current vampires wore their skins long before they turned, it's a part of their identity - but I'm entirely open to having at least one openly vampiric character once ZOS gives us more character slots. Like, a really scrawny Orc wearing the Thief personality and the Wedding suit...

im not a vampire anymore, but when i was... i didn't have a skin that wasn't more unsightly than the vampirism stage 4, but i had to suffer with it, which is why i got my character cured. screw vampirism, you can't fight evil if you aint cute.

I like being a vampire, but I wish it didn't fade tattoos so much. I voted no because I don't usually use skins on my vamps, but I do have one that uses a skin just because it looked really good on him.

I only have one vampire, which is an argonian. It doesn't make any sense their scales, khajiits' fur, tattoos, marking etc gets pale from becoming a vampire, so I currently hide it with the Maormer skin, which suits argonians well.


I wouldn't have any issue making a non khajiit/argonian character a vampire, if it actually looked decent and didn't fade everything on the skin. Vampires in the other TES games has a more subtle look to them which looks alright (For that time period's graphics). ESO's are like cartoon villains.

Before I made my first EVER ESO Vamp, I read of TON of posts complaining about how “bad” it looked, and how people were upset that certain adornments, facial features, tattoos, etc. didn’t look as intended, faded, or simply weren’t visible.

So - I carefully selected & tweaked the Dunmer features & acoutraments that would be the MOST visible - resulting in a Blue Nosferatu meets gaunt General Zod - so much so, that he looks almost exactly like his Stonefire Scamp pet! It’s actually quite disturbing. Lol.

No, I usually stay at stage one since I like how it looks and I rp using goggles and masked hood during the in game day.

Vampire lvl 1-2 are doable, but once i get to lvl 3-4 i hide the vampire looks. Plus there are tons of lovely skins available.

Usually have a full outfit covering the character, unless you look through the eye slit on his helmet you won't notice he is a vampire.

Sometimes I use that blindfold ornament under the helmet so when you look through the eye slit you just see cloth, like the character is running around blind not paying any attention to anything.

Mostly because I got sick of seeing my vampires face when I was interacting with crafting tables.

Vamp 3 & 4 are not the look I'm going for. All my Vampires wear skins except one, and she wears oracle eyes.

I only have one vampire, and I made him specifically to be a vampire so I was considering the effect on how he looks when I made him - mainly using one of the dotted scar patterns rather than tattoos or other markings which wouldn't show up.

I think Vampire effects looks awesome & sexy as hell.

If I wear a skin or helmet, its not to hide my Vampirism, its just to contribute to whatever particular theme Im going for aesthetically.

PS, Vampire skill line is in dire need of a... revamp. It should be more like an actual, usable skill line with active skills, similar to Werewolf.

Of course. More then that, I don't even consider them vampires, if ZOS wants to call best defensive passives+ability in the game vampirism, it's up to them. For me it's just "Lamae Bal Order skill line" like Psijics.

I only have two vampires.

My magblade was my first character, and I wasn't very careful with his creation. After some time of playing, I was about to delete this character cause of his looks, and just when I was preparing for his last logout, I saw somebody selling vampire bite in zone chat. I was never going to have any vampire characters, but in this case, I thought that it can't be worse ...Vampirism saved the life of this character, and there is no skin in game so far which looks better on him than his vampire look:



My second vampire, magsorc, was created only with vampirism in mind - it's very important part of her looks. When she was khajiit:

And when I earned Spiderkith skin, I tried it on all my characters, and only on her this skin looked perfect:



I love both her looks, and change them at will

I have only one complaint about vampire looks - pale body art I hope that with upcoming vampiric-themed year, the transparency of the body art on vampires will be fixed:
