Some people out there are still curious to see what cool new effects these awesome new Radiant Apex mounts have so I made a video for you guys.

The horse is so majestic when he bows down! And the senche's new roar animation is epic!
The wolf is very good boy as well

I really want to see these animations added to older mounts Shadow/Flame Atronach senche mounts have amazing voice - I dream about the day they would start greeting me with their tremendous roars when I enter my house It would be like: "Who is there? *loud roar with intimidating lookout* Prepare to be eaten! ...Oh. It's you. *shaking head and calming down* Come in."

I can't choose my fav from this season - they are all amazing, and every of them has great new animation

If you are lottery like lucky you can in 3 crates so around 10$
Mathematically speaking you should get at least 3 with 1200 Crates 4000 $
To get all 3 different ones its probably around 2400 Crates so 8000$

You're more than welcome Thank you Unfortunately I don't, I planned on getting them but they removed the crates before I could get around to it, shame too, I'm a fan of the Plagueborn Senche-Panther as I think it fits really well for a stamcro theme. I agree about the horse, I love the bow but the animations the senche does tops it for me. I fell in love with it instantly lol.

Would be a nice feature to have but the effect lasting permanently until you get off your mount was a very nice addition to the Radiant Apex mounts. I sincerely hope they do this with older Radiant Apex mounts as well as new ones.

Thanks for the insight! That's way too much for me, but if you can afford it, you do you. Getting a radiant on crate 21 is pretty lucky. I usually buy 30 of the ones I like (once every year or two) and I've yet to get a drop like that. I have a friend that got a Vitrine Dwarven Wolf from a free crate!

And once you get a second Radiant Apex mount, your subsequent odds of pulling a duplicate are 66.6%. So the OP would have to be incredibly lucky to get all three different mounts spending only $850.

I’d love that opal horse. It’s so pretty. It’s probably my favorite radiant apex mount I’ve seen since playing the game. But alas, I don’t have the money or the odds.

See, that shouldn’t even be a thing. Especially with radiant apex mounts. Once you get one you shouldn’t be able to get a duplicate at all.

Love the horse.... not spending money like water though. I buy 5 crates per account per season (assuming it's not stuff like the Xanmeer, New Moon, Hollowjack ones). What I get I get. I've done pretty well overall.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of someone getting a duplicate Radiant (unless they’d whaled their pants off and had all three for that season already). Hence the OP’s experience and others like it.

I’d be surprised if there wasn’t an internal mechanic to prevent this.

Yeah the people complaining how others spend their money is ridiculous. There are far more expensive hobbies than video games. I have friends that spend upwards of $100k on a car they bring to car shows and that's it.

No problem I'm not rich but I don't require much irl. I'm stuck at home (literally stuck) because I'm a carer for my mum who has epilepsy and she can't be left alone so I rarely go out (I'm a huge outdoors person too but times have changed). I've found my enjoyment in games, I mean it's basically all I can do apart from my music, I also make extra money on the side doing VFX and SFX so that helps a bit so if I have spare money I'll probably put it towards something I like in-game. My needs irl are basic - The roof over my head, the food in my stomach and my guitars is all I need.

I should probably mention that these are my first Radiant Apex mounts. I've spent money in the past (around 60-120 crates) and got nothing but a single Apex mount so I think good RNG finally caught up to me. I also would have stopped at the first 21 crates if the horse was the senche as it was the only thing I was after but here we are nearly 400 crates later so you can tell how much I wanted that senche lol. I hope you get a Radiant Apex mount soon I think everyone deserves one and it really is a shame that it does in fact cost so much to get them. I think around 25-50 crates should net everybody a Radiant Apex mount because in all fairness, there's a lot of people out there who can barely afford 5k Crowns, ZoS needs to realize this because it's unfair to a lot of players simply because they can't afford it. I see how they're reaching out to the small few who can but they would make so much more money if they got everybody in on the action.

I don't know exactly how it works but I personally don't think you can get a Radiant Apex duplicate. I'm pretty sure it gives you a different one if you've already collected one. I say this because I've spoken to another player who has all 3 mounts and another player who has 2. It's strange too because the player with all 3 mounts got them in the exact same order that I did and around VERY similar crate numbers. Same with the player who had 2/3 mounts - same order and very similar crate numbers.

See, that shouldn’t even be a thing. Especially with radiant apex mounts. Once you get one you shouldn’t be able to get a duplicate at all.

I hope you get one soon, everybody should get at least 1!

If you own a trading guild you could make enough in-game to get a bunch of crates.

Judging between me and the other 2 mentioned players in the previous quote, I'm sure there must be something in place to prevent duplicate Radiant Apex mounts. Would really appreciate if a member of the ZoS team could confirm this.

I'd be crazy to disagree with the video. I'm pretty sure there's seminars that teach this very sort of trait within gaming companies before they get sent off to the big leagues. This should all be basic knowledge to them.

Thanks for the insight! That's way too much for me, but if you can afford it, you do you. Getting a radiant on crate 21 is pretty lucky. I usually buy 30 of the ones I like (once every year or two) and I've yet to get a drop like that. I have a friend that got a Vitrine Dwarven Wolf from a free crate!

No problem I'm not rich but I don't require much irl. I'm stuck at home (literally stuck) because I'm a carer for my mum who has epilepsy and she can't be left alone so I rarely go out (I'm a huge outdoors person too but times have changed). I've found my enjoyment in games, I mean it's basically all I can do apart from my music, I also make extra money on the side doing VFX and SFX so that helps a bit so if I have spare money I'll probably put it towards something I like in-game. My needs irl are basic - The roof over my head, the food in my stomach and my guitars is all I need.

I should probably mention that these are my first Radiant Apex mounts. I've spent money in the past (around 60-120 crates) and got nothing but a single Apex mount so I think good RNG finally caught up to me. I also would have stopped at the first 21 crates if the horse was the senche as it was the only thing I was after but here we are nearly 400 crates later so you can tell how much I wanted that senche lol. I hope you get a Radiant Apex mount soon I think everyone deserves one and it really is a shame that it does in fact cost so much to get them. I think around 25-50 crates should net everybody a Radiant Apex mount because in all fairness, there's a lot of people out there who can barely afford 5k Crowns, ZoS needs to realize this because it's unfair to a lot of players simply because they can't afford it. I see how they're reaching out to the small few who can but they would make so much more money if they got everybody in on the action.

It's good of you to care for your mum! I should say, though, that you don't need to explain this all to me. I try not to express overt enthusiasm when people spend a lot on loot crates, for obvious reasons, but I choose not to make judgments about people and their lifestyle based on something they bought. It can be difficult to figure out what a responsible consumer looks like, but at a certain point you have to just let a person live.

Of course, we probably both explained our habits not for the benefit of each other, but others in the forum, hm.

You've got a good attitude about the radiant apexes! I've seen a lot of people get their shorts in a twist when they don't feel their cosmetics are "exclusive" enough. I wish they were more accessible, too. I also hope I get one someday. If I don't, that's all right, too.

You need not justify your spending frontman. I made a thread in the crown store section calling for a direct buying method for radiant mounts. Either with crowns or gems, on top of the random cruelty generator. Buying them outright negates the random or lottery variable gamble. Someone could potentially spend hundreds of dollars and not even obtain a radiant mount. That is where I’d see the problem. I own 18 radiant mounts, fortunately I own my own business and spending a little bit of money on pixels isn’t a big thing for me, but for some others it may be something that comes with difficulty. If the price were set, players could budget for such an expenditure.

Let’s say ZOS goes high end at 21000cr per mount. That would be 150$.
To buy all 3 would be 450$
For me, I would buy all three, ZOS gets paid, I get the mounts I want without the anxiety or worthless pots I don’t need.

I'd be leery of investing in these guys, TBH, the way they've been botching the performance, combat, lore, and everything recently. They would have to make wholesale personnel changes and prove that things are getting a LOT better before I would invest a dime in their stock.

It wouldn’t be a for-profit investment, only shareholder direction. I would force the hand to direct attention to the issues that I see on these forums. You know, listening to your consumer base.

I agree about the horse, I love the bow but the animations the senche does tops it for me. I fell in love with it instantly lol.

Would be a nice feature to have but the effect lasting permanently until you get off your mount was a very nice addition to the Radiant Apex mounts. I sincerely hope they do this with older Radiant Apex mounts as well as new ones.

I know and as you said - for others on the forum. Just trying to share some insight that we all have different situations so none of us should pass judgement on one another.

Thank you I know what you mean and I've seen the same thing too. It's good that you look at it that way too It would be nice for everybody to be able to access these is SOME way or another though, without having to fork out a crap load of money. Something like how we can buy houses for gold - make them super expensive like 20-25m gold, heck probably even more based off of some peoples experiences. Even something like an extremely hard achievement would work too, similar to how the Sunspire mount is obtained but obviously WAY hardly with no possible way to cheese through it. I am talking seriously hard dungeons or trials, harder than anything we've ever come across in ESO. That way, everybody gets a shot. They wouldn't have to remove them from the store either, people would have the option to either buy their way through it or grind their asses off for a SERIOUSLY long time.

There's plenty of ways to make some serious in-game gold to net you enough crates till you end up getting a Radiant Apex mount. Farm your butt off for mats, flip items (start low end till you can afford to flip higher end items), farm trials and sell valuable items.. the list goes on and on. Hope you can find something that suits you best to net you a good amount of gold

I couldn't agree with you more and it's sad that it's being abused big times in games these days. I would be happy to pay a set amount to obtain the mounts too, no matter how expensive. At least this way everybody gets a chance - people could save over time for the mounts. Don't get me wrong here, I'm more than happy I have the Volcanic Senche-Panther and I would have stopped at 21 crates had it been the first Radiant Apex that I received as it was the ONLY Radiant Apex that I wanted but here I am nearly 400 crates later. You can tell how much I wanted that Senche lol so I still take it with a grain of salt, here's why - Personally I've always hated gambling with a passion, I've never gambled at the casino, never touch slot machines or even gamble with friends in a game of cards for that matter, yet, here I am gambling my butt off in a game, literally taunting my own hatred for gambling like an addict. I'm now no different than a person chasing a jackpot at a casino. What I'm getting at here is, these games have found an incredibly tedious way to turn us mere hard core gamers into serious gamblers, and that is the bottom line truth of it.

We need ways to obtain these mounts without it being a gamble. As you said - Crowns or Gems and I would definitely have to go with Gems as we get SO many saved up literally just sitting there rotting away on our accounts. I have nearly 5,000 Crown Gems saved up over time and I haven't found anything useful to use them on. When new crates come out we're always chasing the Radiant Apex mounts and end up earning just about all, if not all Apex mounts in the process and just end up stacking more useless Crown Gems. Honestly what's the point in these? The ONLY time they get get used (by me and other people I've spoken to anyway) is when exclusive Crown Gem mounts come out and sometimes we don't even bother with them!

I totally vote for Radiant Apex mounts also being made available via Crown Gems.
