NA sever = North and South America and maybe Australia are playing there.
EU server = Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North and South America playing there. Also few people from International Space Station and Mars Colony. Outer Space Extraterestrial entities might also play on our sever. xD

I think its really heartwarming that Gina wants us all to have a great weekend , perhaps ZOS now has the ability to roll back time too then because its 3pm in the afternoon here and I have still to be able to log into the game!

You must be new here if you believe that they are actually doing something. ZOS believes in Einstein, any patch to fix a problem WILL break something else. Anyway, after years of this repeating, I have a hard time believing it's Software and not hardware.

I've never seen performance this bad before, been getting kicked from the server all week and I can't even get in today. Witches Festival event needs to be extended or something to make up for the downtime.

Jester Festival event a bit more than couple of years ago was completely the same.

Hi everyone, just posted messaging over in this thread, but the short version is we're going to deploy the upcoming patch right now as it has some adjustments that should help with these issues. Maintenance is going to begin in about a half hour.

Hey Gina, will we be getting patch notes at maintenance end?

ok, sure, something else can go wrong...

But i think they wisely decided to try fix the servers today instead of wating with that till monday.

    Rollback from 5.2.5 to 5.0.6 ?

Whoops, that’s a typo. We’re patching to 5.2.6 - we are not rolling back.

Maybe we should roll back to somewhere the game actually functioned after a major Patch? And we all know it is not you Gina, but jesus christ the player base is screaming for change and all we get is mid-event, mid-weekend emergency patch BS and we get the standard thanks for your continued patience. If the dev team wants to spit in our faces at least have them do it themselves rather than throwing you to the hordes of unhappy players.

hey, they're smart, they are calling it "server down for maintenance" instead of "we are aware some players have issues connecting to the game and are investigating"
REsult is the same, but looks different...

Next thing we'll be getting a "health issue : too much computer time is bad for you. So we're clossing your acces for now, go and have a walk !" message ...

Guess it's time for me to play Divinity : Original Sin now (100% offline, so i don't have to worry about anything but my own hardware...)

I wanted to do my skill respec now. Will it still be free after the patch, or will patch put an early end to that? :o

It will still be free until Monday morning at 10am EDT as it isn't tied to the patch.

Well put! I had a bit of a go early in this thread but I could not agree more.

Dear ZOS team, please let me give you a friendly and calm feedback:

When i read the announcements and comments from the staff here in the forum it always sounds like some "force of nature" is deranging PC EU, but that seems highly unlikely especially regarding the recent series of problems. I assume most of us customers here suspect some favouritism to the benefit of the other servers. All subscribers pay (more or less) the same but the service PC EU subscribers recently get is plainly less good (I don't call it bad!).

Just any kind of honest and fair re-compensation would prove, that this discrimination is not your policy. Of course it's a tough question what would be fair in this case?! It shouldn't be too big so that the other servers feel cheated. I have an idea though: Throw all PC EU players a bone and if similar problems ever occur on other servers they get exactly the same.

You could give all PC EU players a small give away and expand all active ESO+ subscriptions by one day. I am sure it would diminish the number of people quitting. And for me that is much more valuable than any give away: The number of people that continue to play ESO with me on my server. I personally don't care about the recompensation but i know others do and care about their continued company in the game.

    Thank you for caring,
    your recently returned customer

I usually have a lot of patience and understand that running a game like ESO is no easy task but I don t get why you release a major patch (not just a new dungeon but I large zone most players want to quest) and an event in the same week?

For me this is begging for trouble.

I would've perhaps, liked to get my tickets today, and not wait for a possible delay after it's 8 pm my time when the maintenance is supposedly over. I'm paying for ESO+ and this is not what I want with my money, to have a maintenance every single day when an EVENT is going. Fix EU for real or get rid of it entirely and let all its players migrate to NA.

I started playing ESO(On PC-EU), about three weeks ago. The first week it was fine, there was a bit of a issue logging in after maintenence but that soon seemed to resolve itself. However most of the past two weeks have been horrendous.

I normally first attempt to login mid afternoon EU time, this past week in particular everyday I've attempted to do that I have either been hit by login issues, character load issues, extended/additional maintenence, or a combination of the three. These issues are always eventually resolved and I am able to play without difficulty for the remainder of my play time but this is at this point beyond a joke.

Whilst the game itself and the content is creating a good impression on a new player such as myself, the servers, the maintenence and just the general systems handling connectivity and loading are creating a very negative one. Fortunately I am quite patient and I have other things I can fill those lost hours with, I don't know anybody yet so have no IG commitments so for now I can and will perservere and tolerate the situation with good humour. However I am not a typical case, most people have more limited time and more RL commitments than I do or other games that will pull them away permanently if the quality of service remains as it is.

You really need to get this sorted with more lasting solutions else you will lose customers, new and old, to games that have greater stability.

This happens every year since the first time the event started, and they always give a few days of compensation, I don't understand why so much drama.

Lag, long loading screens and emergency maintenance are part of the event.

And the same thing will happen with the new year event.

Unfortunately, as is plain from browsing these forums, the problems are not just related to the event. The problems are ongoing for EU users and have been for some time.

Yes, and the same thing will happen in the next week/patch/event, it is a shame that EU players are the ones that are always affected.

But at this point, you guys should already realize that ZOS doesn't have the interest or the brain to fix things in the EU.

I have a crippling feeling that nobody here really used to read any fairy tales when they were kids... especially if an individual used to grew up in EU, as a brief example, Hans Christian Andersen was from Denmark.

I mean, most of the people here act just like a "real princess" from "The Princess and the Pea" fairy tale, and nobody even scratch to realize that something is wrong with their own attitude at first place.

"We are paying for one" they say, and only this gives em' an excuse to act like they want to.

I read a lot of fairy tales as a kid. It never included a fairy tale about the protagonist paying for a non-functional product.

If any comparison to a fairy tale is warranted, it's ZOS treating us like they are the evil stepmother.
