You may also look at Fang Lair and Sai Sahan chest pieces for diversity.

LOL, on what it is based on your opinion, then?

To make it clear. I see any good fantasy as a hypothetical world, where some weird things could happen, like arcane arts having place, or there is a race of sentient humanoids with pointy ears and such. The world can be maid from scratch, of course, BUT it'll inevitably be based on some real-life categories. Assumptions one made inevitably have a great influence on society, material and spiritual culture and so on, BUT the influence is determined by logic (or should I say dialectics instead?) we, humans, developed throughout our history. There is no other coherent way to think of things, and it needed to connect all the weird assumptions and other facts of fantasy world together, to make it look like some kind of reality.

Big OUFF, stop using realism as defense for anything in this game, put on heavy armor for that.

What actually the big argument here, if someone wants more gender neutral armor let them say so. Many like the gender specific armor or so called boob-plate, whats the issue? There will never be a point where we get rid of either...

Ironic part is many of the "realism-warriors here don't use a helmet :D

Crafted ebony has sculpted breasts but if you turn it round in a circle on its actually a solid flat surface.

Also I can but it on a female character and make her look like she can do something with that sword other than drag it around.

The point is choice, personally I want more bulky armour for female characters because all these steel wet suits are just making her look tiny. There are maybe three suits in the game that do this well, looking at it that way your already ahead of me in choice if you want an androgynous plank.

What I want to know is what idiot is it that designs body sliders in games? The sexual dimorphism is insane! The max size female is barely a third the size of a male.

Disagree. It's the human body that's beautiful, not just the female one. Male body is usually considered meh while the female one is held at a pedestal. I hope things get more equal eventually. Both male and female bodyes should be celebrated.

I said the same in an earlier post. However, we can't ignore that the female body has always been, and still is, more taboo. Just look at the debate around breast feeding in public.

The human body, in all its diversity should be celebrated, I agree. But society at large imposes greater controls over the female form... and continues to treat it as a subversion.

I can get onboard with choice, allowing players the option to wear either variant, but I can't agree to denying either in favor of a singular vision as per the OP suggestion. Men and women are different, in more than just body shape... That's what we need to celebrate, not bury beneath the equality excuse. At least this game allows us to express ourselves visually in a tasteful manner unlike many games.

I'd like to hear what the female staff at ZOS think about this - - the way armour is designed makes me believe it has never been a primarily male vision.
