lol clueless. real shocker there as you usually are. ZOS themselves have stated that a very low percentage of the player base is completing vet content. So hey lets just nerf EVERYTHING. Yeah that will fix it. I guess they dont want players completing their content they come out with. That is such a great vision for the game.
They wanted to get rid of the tank meta in PvP. Now they nerf DPS to oblivion. So welcome back the tank meta.
Sure this combat team sure has a real good vision for the game and has done nothing but improve it. SURE!. just how delusional can you be?

If by "improve" you actually mean "massively deteriorate," then yes. If not, you are off your rocker big time. Throwing gigantic nerfs around to skills you just barely buffed, that leave them worse off than before you touched anything, cannot be considered anything other than inept. You can't defend that, and any attempts to just seriously erode your own credibility.
This game needed major changes.

If you're correct then the game's population should stay steady or even improve. Will be interesting to see if that's the case in various endgame aspects...

I'm going to translate "various endgame aspects" as Veteran Trials - and note that segment of the population is a very small percentage of the general playing base. They may deteriorate as a result - since they concentrate on content that is not as affected by the ludicrous damage on this game as the rest of the game is. They also tend to dominate this forum (like on most video game forums) so the commentary is often skewed as a result and does not accurately reflect the state of the game for most players.
In other words: when 99% of the game an absolute face roll due to ridiculous damage the 1% of the game that is still challenging is not sufficient to counterbalance that. The combat teams of late have concentrated far too much on making that 1% happy instead of the other 99% and this new team actually seems to take the full scope of the game into account so the very least I can do is support their efforts here on this forum.

yes, to prevent the 27 (twenty seven!!!) crashes we had last night in vSo, at the second boss 10 over 12 crashed at the same time! Major changes to fix bugs (second boss in Hel ra is still bugged, if 1 group wipe the run is lost), invisible mobs, invisible aoes, flying rams, the lag, etc...
Yes, Q4 improvements and blablabla but improvements and nerfing everything by 60% are not working for the same goal

As I said - I could care less what you think of my credibility. It's the people who shriek about the end of the world every time an update happens who have no "credibility". Why anyone would still take these people seriously is beyond me.
And yes - when the entire landscape is a joke - as are most dungeons these days - 99% is a pretty accurate number. If it's an exaggeration - it's only a slight one.

I do agree that the CP system has allowed power creep, but I don't believe that end game vet hard mode trials are "too easy". I also don't agree that decreasing DPS and increasing skill costs make the game more challenging for the same old content, it just makes it more tedious. I would like to see more content that has challenges and promotes teamwork (like the latest dungeons).
If you are looking for a challenge, then de-allocate all of your champion points and un-equip all of your gold perfected trial gear and go play that way. I still find plenty of challenges in this game, I don't need a roller coaster ride of skill nerf/buff/nerf again to keep me "interested".

Welp. Looks like me, my friends, and 95% of all the people in the once populated guilds I were in won't be coming back any time soom, lmao.
I'm not surprised, but at the same time, what the absolute *** is going in at HQ? I'm really starting to believe they're smoking and snorting away all the revenue they're generating from ESO, given the choices they make for this game.
Community for years: Please ZOS, no more nerfs, it's killing the game, plea--
ZO$, after snorting their 10th line:
The game needs to be interesting outside of just "hard modes".
So If certain hard modes are too difficult as a result of these changes they can simply be altered to accommodate them. That's not saying "screw you". It's trying to improve the game as a whole instead of just having tiny fragments of challenge - which is not a good design scheme.

Making overland/quest Content and base game vet Dungeons and normal Dungeons more "interesting" would require incredibly heavy nerfs, you dont Need any dots at all for overland/quest/normal Content as Long as nearly everything dies in 1 LA spammable weave but People dont understand that, if you want that stuff to become interesting then it Needs to be changed completely or the alternative to that would be to render all of our abilities near useless and reduce our defense and heals massively.

High level players literally melt the entire landscape on this game and probably every normal dungeon - and most Veteran dungeons. I can think of far worse things to do to this game other than reduce player damage (which has needed to happen for a long time).

Whether or not the sky is falling, or even whether or not it matters because it's simply a video is mostly irrelrvant, but, intentionally misrepresenting information is a matter of principle.
