I'm already taking a break. There are plenty of fish in the gaming sea. I couldn't guess how many others might do the same.

Not me. I like these changes tbh. I am taking a break from this current patch tho. Will be back if the PTS notes goes live.

ESO seems to be going the pay to not play way. I usualy dont play these type of games.

Id like to see new guilds with interesting mecanic rather then boring ones ancouraging crown store skip pass.

There are a lot of changes that are off setting to quite a few players for different reasons. Seems like it's too many changes for one patch. You're seeing the P2W complaint. And the healers. For sure the zergs in Cyro won't like the changes. Changes to both PVP and PVE that a certain amount of players won't like. And if your interest is already declining, this patch will tip some players away. Hate to see it TBH.

    Again.

Just like they did the last 10 or so updates...

Not everyone but some. First time I've heard a number of players that actually cancelled their subs. I think this one may have more impact that last 10 or so

Well too many changes in 1 patch. It usualy not go well. Too much stuff to test so it will be lunched unbalanced and many will be overwelmmed by the changes.

Heavy theorycrafter will anjoy. Others, well maybe not.

Cancelled their sub during night because of PTS notes? Man, that’s what I call dramatic. And I thought the movie I watched last night was unsettling.

It will have to play out awhile. See how much the cost is. If prohibitive, it may not affect the game as much as could be. However, reasonable people differ on what they are willing or able to pay for what the cool kids are calling "convenience" instead of p2win nowadays.

It will take some time for the traditionl rpgers to get a handle on this change. Sadly, we might be the easiest ones to leave if it affects us because we play every inch of the game with a couple friends and enjoy it as it. Except for lag and bugs, of course. And class/race chages that break lore.

Just look at the number of complaint threads. And you see a few people really happy about the changes. But you see more complaints. And I didn't think about this affecting the rpgers. But yes, I can see it would. This patch is different from previous. Usually, one or two classes feel short changed. But this time, both PVE and PVP will be affected. I think small scale pvpers like the direction. But when you start affecting PVE healers as much as this patch might, that has a lot of impact.

I'm not likely outright quitting right away. I'll play through until they push this mess live, then reevaluate to see if it's worth the headache. I've already pulled my subs though. I'm done paying to play a broken game. If they ever decide to do their actual jobs and fix the avalanch of bugs instead of pandering to a tiny minority of players, I might change my mind. Not holding my breath though.

I had to login just to reply this thread...

I was planning to resub when Elsweyr came but i ended up in Tera.
The pinned thread in General forum about server performance made up my mind. Maybe later, early winter i consider resubbing but that remains to see.

About as many as left with each nerf cycle.

    IOW, very few if any.

Once the panicked qq’ing dies down and people learn to adjust, you’ll hear less of todays histrionics.

I will continue to play this game but my subscription will be canceled and will not purchase any further content. This wave of nerfs is even worse than previous ones and this games needs a lot of performance fixes that are simply not there yet. With this ZOS has demonstrated a complete disregard of what the community of this game not only wants but needs.

I've just been playing Final Fantasy 14, and checking forumd /patch notes and ESO guild discords for updates. Looks like I'll keep playing the new Shadowbringers expansion instead of coming back to ESO.

Go play a Korean-based MMORPG before you talk anything about pay2win again, please.

It is becoming pay to win and its not about the skill lines at all, this healing nerfs are just to make people buy the new dlc to get the new set and that's it.
