Newest FX from Essential Housing Tools in use

I am going to try to keep this thread updated with new fx as they come along and how I use them. Feel free to join in for those of you who also utilize an effect.


Parquet (Butter)

Fleur de lys tiles - excellent for a stove backsplash - these are blown up as you can now decrease and increase the size of repeating patterns. I used it for a floor but it can be made smaller for lots of other uses.

Gold and marble pattern, also made larger

lunar coral

Damselfish (left) angelfish (right)

Dragon ivy - the one in the middle is the fake one, and I made it darker for reasons, but you can make it match.


Hakoshae lantern string. Nope, NOT REAL, it's an effect! Awesome, you know you want it (also dirt is an effect)


Heraldry, it can flap or not flap in the wind, do one for all your guilds! (also the lily pads and flowers are fx)

This isn't terribly new but here's stained glass in use (not by me, by GeraltIII -name is in upper left hand corner of pic) I love how they used it in a completely unexpected way

Looks real, doesn't it? The water is an effect from EHT.

This artist actually posts her stuff free to use on deviantart - she has all sorts of castle parts up. And yes, that's why I put two next to each other, to try to reduce the... um... look of... yeah.

It looks wrong because the perspective of the towers is wrong and doesn't fit your point of view. The towers are pictured from above and look like they are falling on you.

I know, this is a work in progress, i just wanted to show what they look like. (I am working on this at ground level but it won't be when it's done, it's just easier to build where i dont have to float on boards above or below to do it.)
