    I believe addressing Gina is the correct step. I believe she is diligent in passing on the requests to whomever is responsible for this issue. I recommend avoiding tagging her excessively; all it does is clutter up her inbox and possibly annoy. And all she can do is ask the team and wait for a response. It would be nice if she were to post "they're working on it; no eta yet"... but it seems that in other threads, when she does so, it merely prompts another round of tagging to clarify "eta".

    Support Ticket. If you are trying to tag ZOS employees on the public forum for official answers then you are under the wrong expectations. They'll speak when they want to, and tagging them on issues they are aware of isn't going to expedite the process, unfortunately.

    I think the bigger issue here is that add-ons shouldn't be a crucial part of the game. If you, or your guild, cannot continue playing and having fun because of an add-on then there is another underlying issue that needs to be resolved first.


    Edit: To clarify, I do believe some of the blame is on ESO for the architecture they set up, as they made these add-ons a crutch for certain players. And now they are trying to increase game performance (which people say is the #1 issue) by limiting the API calls for add-ons. It's a lose-lose situation.

    I opened a ticket 4 days after the initial freeze already. On the in-game feedback tab. Maybe I can start another one in the "bug" section? :P

    That’s a valid concern and perhaps a good topic for discussion elsewhere, but it’s not the “bigger issue here.” It’s not the topic here at all.

    Addons have always been a big part of the game on PC, and an important api was disabled with no ETA as to when we will get it back. We would like an update on the status when possible. That is the topic of this thread.

    You can get MM to read the data but it is slow in a busy guild(s).

    If you open the Guild history then Sales and slowly work backwards by pressing E repeatedly; to whatever point of time you want; I went back to 9 pm CET on 9th April so I had a full set of sales data for last week. Then run the /mm missing command and voila.

    Press E too often in quick succession you get kicked from the game for spamming commands to the server so gently does it.

    Got some data but this is not solved at all. It seems to get MM to read all the sales we must browse all the history from the Guild Sales Menu and then enable the addon, at that point all should be showing. Yeah, right, this takes like hours, no way!

    Yes, I was writing that just the moment you too were posting, how much time it takes though? When it doesn't freeze too...
    For a big guild with a lot of sales and more than one guild, it's just insane time to spend.

    Thanks. Many of us are actually aware of this but almost afraid to point it out since ZOS may take more drastic measures to prevent even this. And it is not a fix for the situation, since it is very time consuming, especially if you are in multiple guilds. And it is surely more taxing on the server than the API way of pulling the data, but who knows.

    Exactly. I'm not sure this is "legal" so i'd rather not mess with it and get banned.

    For whatever reason, my experience and the experience of others I have talked to is that tickets submitted in-game seem to go unanswered. If you submit a ticket, probably best to do so on the web site.

    Although, honestly, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Submitting a ticket if you were unaware of why the function wasn’t working because you don’t read the forums would be understandable, but since we know the function was turned off on purpose, it just further gunks up the zos plumbing. I know several people who have not gotten their E3 drops and are having a hard time getting a reasonable response because of all the other legit tickets right now, so I would feel bad about making it even more difficult for them. Just my two cents.

    I have had them answered in game but they have been for things I needed fixed, like missing nirn or something.

    As of last night Shissu's Guild Tools and ATT seem to be working as they should. Last week'sinfo seems missing and I don't trust this week's info either to rely on. But the Guild Finder issues seem fixed and promoting and demoting players is very much improved. There is much less delay and the message in the top right corner is very helpful. I will keep looking out for problems but as of now I am pretty happy with what has been done and I would say that it looks like it was worth it in the end.

    That’s good news. Without full sales data (atm) we currently cannot purge guildies to make room for newbies, but I’m happy to hear of any progress on the guild finder. It has such promise. Thanks for the info.
