Sugar Bowl Suite Challenge! Show off your new inn room! Prizes and Tours Wednesday, June 5th

Hope everyone is enjoying Elsweyr! With it came many new furnishings and new homes, including the super cozy Sugar Bowl Suite in Rimmen! To celebrate, the Spicy guilds are holding a SUGAR BOWL SUITE CHALLENGE! Open to ALL on the PC/NA and PC/EU servers!

The challenge? See what can you do with this small space! Stretch your housing skills, get creative, and have fun with it! All the entries will be toured on stream, and big prizes will be had!

HOW TO ENTER:

Two ways to enter:

1) Send an in-game mail to @JHartEllis. You may include a BRIEF description if necessary to explain your build.

2) OR, reply to this thread along with the server you are on (NA or EU), and you may include a longer description and screenshots.

Make sure JHartEllis has Visitor access for the tours. It is not necessary to set the Sugar Bowl Suite to your primary, and you do not need to be present during the streamed tour. Get your entry submitted before before 3pm EDT on June 5th. Enter early (earlier the better). If you have EHT FX, please mail those in-game to @JHartEllis

What can you do with this?

PRIZES:

Top 3 winners in each category will receive a sweet Elsweyr-themed furnishing bundle on PC/NA or PC/EU! Categories are MOST CREATIVE, MOST FUN, and BEST USE OF SPACE. All other entrants will receive a small participation prize.

Judging will be streamed Wednesday, June 5th starting at 7pm EDT at twitch.tv/jhartellis. We'll have a few prizes for Twitch chat participants as well! Tune in, get some decoration inspiration, and enter for prizes!

I did send you an in-game email, and my suite is published to the EHT community, but I no longer see an option for sharing EHT FX through email. Can we still do that?

Yes! There are several ways to share, but if you want to share via email, you need to go to the home you want to share and either a) publish to community, which Jhart has and uses and therefore nothing else needs to be done, or b) use the share tab within that to send a mail.

Now if you are in a guild with him, that's another matter, as you can use share to guild. Finally, if all else fails, you could always grab him before the show and send him the fx via whispers. But probably the easiest and best way that allows others to come to your house and see the fx without you sharing to them, would be publish to community. One house per customer, for now, but it's super exciting. Sorry @R_K if I stole your thunder! But I'm an EHT nerd.

I love this little inn room and have just finished decorating it.

It's nothing spectacular and I haven't added any effects to it, or anything, but still.

I'm on PC EU (@Tigaseye).

@StabbityDoom Quite alright, lol! Thanks for answering that

:-) I hadn't added the Share by Mail option to the Hub yet, leaving it only in the FX menu in the house, because it requires the additional UI elements for specifying the email address and, quite frankly, my goal is encourage people to begin using the Community feature instead. My perspective on that is this: the more players that use the Community server, the more it demonstrates the overall demand for these types of features. I would love to be able to make a post on the Forums at some point stating, "We've now reached 5,000 Community users and we're still growing..." to show everyone just how many players are passionate about ESO's Housing.

As animations tend to go wonky sometimes even if I create "reset points" I will just drop the "perfect version" of my house here (blame meh slight OCD).

By the way, sorry about the glitching EHT painting/mural in my inn room.

Finally figured out today (a little too late!) that it was the firefly swarm in front of it causing the issue.
