I prefer doing surveys. Even though the Alchemist ones don't even guarantee they'll have Corn Flower, it's still faster and more guaranteed than grindey farming. Surveys are the hidden jewel of doing daily crafting writs.

The Spell Power Pots are 140-200 a pop now. Corn Flower, the most expensive ingredient was selling from 280-350 before patch and now sell for 400-600. Either supply is low or someone is buying em to inflate the price.

i had 400 of them got about maybe 80ish left now in 2 months play time
and i pretty much pick up all mats i come across
Corn flower is one of the items you need for crafting spell power potions so def a demand for them
and they get used fast

Neither, everyone uses them is all, they are overused, pots were not meant to be a constant buff. Simple supply and demand. People need to learn to marshal resources appropriately or be willing to pay for the overuse.

Regardless just becuase something becomes scarcer in the game and the price goes up means something is broke. The game has to have some effort, geesh.

I've been hoarding them for months (maybe years) hoping, one day, I'll create a dedicated crafter. You wouldn't believe how much ebonthread, silver, copper, pewter, orcalcum, iron, dwarvin ore, nirnroot, steel(whatever) and various other things I have in that bag.

I was shocked when I actually opened it up the other day!

The supply of cornflower created by the game hasn't changed. If anything its increased with all the people doing writs and getting reward boxes.

ZOS generally doesn't mess with the economy when demand spikes or players hoard mats. Both of those are short term impacts. Either wait it out or farm more.

There is a high demand for corn flower. It doesn't mean that the spawn ratio of the reagent has decreased. You can always get them from surveys and writs.

You say you need more cornflower. I suggest that you find more of any resource and exchange it for cornflower. It's not bound on pickup. Use one of many, many other resources that you do have a lot of and exchange.

I don't know anything about your situation other than the 6 words total between your title and message so I can't make any suggestions, but if you truly have no other resource you could exchange for cornflower, you may need to find some amount of time to build something up over time.

I had a ton of surveys in storage and just ran through over 100+ in the last few days to clear space. I have mats of all types coming out my ears now.

What's so bad in making mats a little easier to come by? I've been farming flowers for over 2 years. Lately all my routes are inundated with people competing for mats, which means more time wasted in annoying RGN grind, which is already over the top. I even see some who pass by all the flowers except corn flower, apparently oblivious to the fact they generate randomly. Just what this game needs...more stupid grinding.
