Housing Hoarders' Storage Showcase! Show off your storage homes! Prizes and Tours May 3rd

Have a home or ten where you store extra furnishings? Great! Is it a completely disorganized mess? Even better! The Spicy guilds are holding a STORAGE SHOWCASE! Open to ALL on the PC/NA and PC/EU servers!

It's simple to enter: just list out which home(s) you are using primarily for storage, and that's it! For the sake of this showcase DO NOT STAGE OR PREP your home. This is about showcasing how you CURRENTLY utilize your houses, whether you're proud of your storage organization or completely embarrassed by it! All the entries will be toured on stream, and big prizes will be had!

HOW TO ENTER:

Two ways to enter:

1) Send an in-game mail to @JHartEllis with the type of home(s) your storage is in (e.g. "Snugpod, Strident Springs, Pariah's"). You may include a BRIEF description if you want to describe your storage methodology or any necessary touring instructions.

2) OR, reply to this thread with the type of home(s) your storage is in (e.g. "Snugpod, Strident Springs, Pariah's") along with the server you are on (NA or EU), and you may include a longer description and screenshots.

Make sure JHartEllis has Visitor access for the tours. It is not necessary to set the home to your primary, and you do not need to be present during the streamed tour. Get your entry submitted before before 3pm EDT on May 3rd. Enter early (earlier the better). If you have EHT FX, please mail those in-game to @JHartEllis

PRIZES:

I don't want to incentivize staging, so prizes will be randomly chosen among entrants. 10 randomly selected entrants will each win 50,000 gold on PC/NA or PC/EU!

Judging will be streamed Friday, May 3rd starting at 7pm EDT at twitch.tv/jhartellis. We'll have 5 BIG furnishing bundles available as prizes for Twitch chat participants to add to their storage! Tune in, get some decoration inspiration (maybe?), and enter for prizes!

Fantastic idea, J! Please feel free to include my three (THREE) storage houses - Hunter's Glade, Erstwhile, and Mournoth.

The latter is only partially stuffed; the other two are downright ridiculous.

Too bad. I do not own storage houses Just work in progress. I use bank/chests as furniture storage. Stray furniture obstruct the view... Would work in progress qualify? xD

Grand Psijic Villa

(the Grand Emporium as I like to call it)

In the main hall and side wings of the Grand Psijic Villa, I have an Emporium of all the items that I have for housing that do not have a home yet. No going through any load doors in this mall, everything is organized into categories and easy to see. Before I do any guild store searches, I go shopping here with a convenient storage chest to transport the items to the house. Of course, Tythis is on hand with his clipboard to handle inventory.

the overall layout inside & out was made with furniture leftovers (not counting that one crown store pergola )
& the balconies in the temple are the working warehouse storage that changes as things come & go

You can go see my Ebony Flask Inn room, it will be a quick stop. I use most of the furniture I get, but all the creepy, gross, or scary stuff that's not my style gets thrown into the Flask.

My hoarding house is Ravenhurst.

Serenity Falls Estate outside is looking like a hoarding problem out of control but I plan on doing an outdoor bazaar there and a lot of that stuff will get used. Kind of just piled around for now though. Inside has some of the furniture that came with the house because I wasn't paying attention when I bought it. That will probably all come out as I add to the bazaar.

This house is way too huge so I decided to turn it into my storage house. It's a bit messy but I'm able to keep a good overview, for myself at least.
