New Mount for completeing Sunspire Hardmode!

I noticed that.

I think a mount is a much more appealing reward than a skin. Skins are so not Elder Scrolls. For a few minutes - until they demo'ed it - I was thinking that it might actually be worth doing it at least once to get the mount.

But the mount, like most skins, is too flashy and not Elder Scrolls. It's not something I'd actually ride so not worth the effort for me.

I'm sure you're not the only player excited by it though. I hope you enjoy it

this trend to make mounts and skins flashier and flashier is very concerning to me...people seem to like it - to me it just creates immersion breaking clutter

Completion of the most difficult PvE content should come with a unique reward that doesn't require you to forgo 90% of the Outfit motif styles.

Mount is a good idea. Others could be a unique Outfit style (book, not pages!), Crown Gems, or a unique Crown crate series that could drop houses among the Apex rewards.

If i heard correctly, it's when you complete all achievements in Sunspire tho, not only hardmode.

It's nice to get some new mount to be earned for achievements, but I really wish we would get a solo arena with nice mount reward For me, most of things locked behind finding 11 other people for new vet trials = out of reach. I don't use voice chat, and from what I see people are extremely afraid to do such content without voice chat. Even finding 3 more people for DLC dungeon achievements is difficult, so the upcoming mount for 12 man trial hardmodes doesn't make me excited at all.

Its all achievements and if im not mistake that includes HM, Speedrun and No death all in 1 run, so the mount will be very rare. Hopefully this encourages more people to get involved in hardcore raiding and develop their skills!

Nice, but probably way out of the reach of an average pleb like me! Still, I will enjoy seeing them around the place here and there. Nice to see ZOS diversifying rewards for such content.

Tbh MMORPGs are not designed for single player. The original idea of them is to socialize with other players to reach your goals. The raiding experience is one of the best parts of an MMORPG especially If you achieve something that you have invested time and work in. I dont know why people always complain about not being able to complete group content alone since the mount and the skin are just cosmetic goodies and you can still pay a group to carry you if you want. But i have to agree that an additional single player arena wouldnt hurt.

I would really like to see more truly unique mounts rather than just another reskin, though. ZOS is getting just a bit too lazy when it comes to imaginative new stuff.

Bring on new stuff - new meshes, animations, etc.

Or people will say "meh, don't care". I personally don't like these mounts, ice, fire (and now ice+fire) mounts don't make any sense.

Finally! This is great news. I've been hoping for mount rewards in ESO that are similar to how WoW has done it.

The skind AND the mount are not even just lazy reskins, they are just one already existing skin (Frost Sabre Cat/Crystalfrost) with some added red parts - imho its even worse than a reskin and ultime lazy

More carries for sale most likely. The path of least resistance. The dlc dungeons have poor completion rates so I doubt a mount reward that requires HM, no death and speed runs through a trial is going to change that. And if it does require all three in one run, those trial groups are going to be well organized and extremely picky about who gets to run.

It is kinda ironic that people cry why they lock cosmetic stuff behind hardcore hardmodes,
so they lock mount behind ALL achievements 💩

I will probably never going to get this, since I'm not an Hardcore Trials player and I don't enjoy trials(well apart from the occasional Solo of a Trial Boss).
Though I'm happy for the dedicated trial guilds, enjoy!

P.S - I hope ZOS will also introduce skins and mount/s for special PVP achievements too.
PVP is not rewarding enough.

The game has no shortage of plain, conventional, drab mounts (and costumes).

Really, the issue is that the game needs a graphical overhaul. I could totally go for something less visually intense if the model, textures, and shaders were improved. Much of the appeal of the more garish cosmetics and mounts in this game is that they make up for the low fidelity limits imposed on the artists.

I saw a picture last night on an ESO FB page showing the skin that matches this mount. I'm excited to run it, but I do find the skin/mount pretty ugly. I do love the idea of a mount as a reward though!

With all the hard fought trials me and my buddies have learned for skins I find myself not equipping them anymore. A mount on the other hand will be pretty sweet!

The way mounts are handled atm, mounts are just skins.

To everyone hating on the skin, I can say with certainty it's better than; Spiderkith, Marchmist Paleskin, Sable Man Beast, Dreadhorn Shaman, Crystalfrost, and Soul-Shriven.

While it is just an upgraded Crystalfrost, it still stands out and is really unique compared to the other skins from trials, and I'm glad that ZoS didn't just rehash the Fabrication Sheath a 3rd time. The mount is a bonus to whatever title we'll happen to get from the Speed Hardmode No Death in all honesty.

If you got a problem with people lookin like disco balls, try getting into endgame pve and obtaining some of the skins yourself, I got no doubt that anyone would end up wearing skins they get.

I can say with certainty it's not better than the Dreadhorn Shaman (my personal favorite). Please stop stating your personal opinion like it applies to everyone.

Pretty sure nothing short of an in game LFG will incentivize or increase Trial participation. Doesn’t help that most of the sets (and rewards in general) are kinda bad, either. Or only good for specific content.

Add mount to hm in all previous trial/vet dlc dongeon and move skin, personalities, etc to vet+hardmode but without no deth and speedrun

It will give a reson to go back there
Create a ladder to hard core content giving them someting to go for in the step between vet and vet hm+no death+speedrun

On this video, you can see all movement and hear all sounds which this mount makes. After that stream where they briefly showed it, I was really curious to see this mount in action and with armor, and I'm really-really lucky that I'm not in love with it - otherwise I would be very sad

If it was a reward for completing vMA or some DLC dungeon challenger, it would still be realistic to get and thus motivational; I would unlock this mount just because it's possible. I hope developers will add more unlockable mounts for different game activities, so many people have possibility to get them
