Typing out the mechanics and sticking for 40 minutes with a group of new players is being an ass? Once again, no good deed goes unpunished. Apparently being helpful is a negative act.

Has that ever happened to you before? It's never happened to me and I expect that it's generally rare across that board.

I dislike the "[x] happened to me, so from now on I'm going to do [x]".

"Punishing" other players for things that happened to you just perpetuates the cycle IMO.

That said, I'm sorry that happened to you... that sucks.

I have been kicked at the last boss after carrying a low CP group as well.

I've also been kicked from groups when trying to teach the group mechanics and someone else argues with me (but they are incorrect) and the group ends up kicking me.

It just happens, unfortunately.

I totally believe OP's story. Happened to me a few times when I tried to tell the group of low CPs they were not doing the mechanics correctly in a DCL dungeon.

Nowadays I just leave the group ASAP if the group seems hopeless. Bad players don't even realize when they're being carried by others so what's the point.

that's the problem grouping with randoms if you had one more person they could have cancelled the vote kick that happen to a buddy we were in Vet Crypt of Hearts 2 and he was explaining mechanics we wiped 2 or 3 times at the second to last boss I was dps and he was healing the tank and other dps were barely over 160 CP and after wipe number 3 they tried to kick him and then we tried to kick them but it didn't work me and my buddy were gonna leave but we decided to try it again and we ended up beating the dungeon but it happens.

Been there man. I forget which Dungeon it was, but mechanics were clearly not being followed. So I typed them out very clearly and directly. I was then kicked from the group for telling them how to play. They private messaged me and told me never to do that again, that it was rude to tell them how to play the game. Mind you, I didn't call anyone out, I only gave straight forward instructions.

It's just the nature of text. It doesn't convey your tone of voice.

Sorta why I don't join PuGs often unless I know that I don't need the rest of the group to complete the place. I simply just run with my guild and my friends.

I never take FG2 pledges, it's always too high risk somebody will be sitting in a bubble.

Truth is, i didn't actually mean that. It's not in my DNA to be a ***, so i'm not going to learn the lesson and i'll keep being nice to strangers. From time to time the world will remind me that not everyone out there is good.

I have never had that experience with low CP players i have taken in a dungeon run. Typically they stay with me for 3 - 4 additional runs after we finish the first one. You may have just had a bad group that time and wouldn't hold all low CP players by their actions.

Even though it’s a small percentage of people, on an absolute basis there are a huge number of anti-social people who just don’t give a —. Some of them happen to play video games. I’m sorry OP.

Don't worry mate I got kicked for looting in Hel Ra Citadel because of the other group not finishing their part of the map. And the player said do not loot in group chat and zone chat to me and said to me it affects the other player on loot for not being in the same room and kicks me out of the group. Oh on bloody normal mode too what a load of lol.

I hate max CP players too.

My hate is equal among players regardless of CP level.

I once had a frost tank blame me for their death at Saint Olms in nAS during the bosses steam breath move and I watched as the tank never even touched block nor move out of the way of harm. Then one other person backed the tank up, saying I wasn't healing the tank enough when I was the only healer and focused on healing the group through the fire damage which is NOT avoidable...the steam breath is. I couldn't believe how stupid they were. You can't heal stupid. The tank then decided to break group and ruin it for everyone after I offered to jump on my tank and show how a tank doesn't need a healer for nAS.

They were by far the worst tank I ever met. They even ran a resto staff and said they could tank/heal. My boyfriend and I couldn't believe what we witnessed. That was the one and only time him and I ever "failed" to complete nAS.

Every time we saw this player in Craglorn asking in WC to join them in any trial, my BF and I would speak up and explain our experience. Apparently we weren't the only ones warning in area chat. Seemed like they had a high reputation for being bad. Some say it was a bad male player acting like a female player to get sympathy. Who knows. This tank tried to say I was only being mean because I was a man who hated women.....then explained I was a women....lol.

Yes, I know when people create these threads to complain about the GF group they were with the problem does not lie with them, but the rest of the group.
