Yeah.... it's not like cyrodil was suppose to be a jungle right now or that there was no recorded evidence of dragons "existing" during this era.

Or how in oblivion the imperial city doesnt have massive cities on its bridges and nibeney and colovian people have virtuallyno differences, or how in skyrim there the nordic pantheon was virtually non existent and replaced with a cyrodilic. Also conveniently ignoring the fact that other elder scrolls games have one phase khajiit

That would explain the race balance changes. Khajiit are greater at magic than Mer, Bosmer as as noticeable as Nords when stealthed, Argonians are no longer poison resistant etc.
