Midyear Mayhem Encore simple performance satisfaction poll

This one is as the title suggests. In this case, consider 'performance' mostly what you thought about the server, queue times, eventual disconnects and good things like actual gameplay. Just vote for your opinion and, if you want, explain. No bashing/flaming intended.

I stayed away from Vivec so my queue times were minimal.

i play in vivec because i had a leaderboard position to hold before the event went live. and i have to be in vivec for the same reason when it ends

If the event started when a new campaign was due to start and ended the same. i would have been happy to relocate.

I just did bg's while waiting for the queue but.. lag .. so bad .

Yup, I stayed in Shor for the first week and played in Vivec/Shor during this second one. When I was in Vivec, as long as I didn't try to go into those crazy 50 vs 50 fights, I had a good time. Trying a Zerg vs Zerg always led me to a disconnect.

Only go in Vivic or Shor for event tickets, so I won't have too much performance trouble. Then later back to battlegrounds, would be even better if I didn't meet pre-made groups there though.

Spent 4 hours in Cyro the first day. No complaints. Shor queue was fast. No lag. No DCs. No endless loading screens (the same can't be said when queuing into a dungeon BTW).

It kind of burned me out so since then I queue, head to a city, run the tiniest daily quest and leave. Absolutely no complaints since queues seem to have become even smaller now that the event is nearly over. Got my berry, got an extra feather, all set for now.

The AP is amazing. I wish it was this way all year round. When the event is over it'll simply feel like there is no point in PvPing for the measly rewards we usually get. 3+ years here and I haven't even accrued 5M AP total. It's just something I don't enjoy doing solo and guild events often feel too rigid with their specific schedules. And will now feel like a "waste" since the AP collected is going to be so small by comparison. Ah well, but I digress.

Good event. Two thumbs up. Will definitely participate in future ones.

Play daytime eastern PC NA. For the most part its OK, then as it gets closer to evening I start getting lag, loading screens in the middle of battle and eventually the game crashes.

This happen all the time, but during PVP events it happens more often.

Played BG exclusively. Had some matchmaking issues yesterday, stuck in the "forming group" state. I had to disconnect and try again. The performances were very satisfying during all the event. No delay, health desync, lag, anything. And I had fun!

I played on the below level 50 campaign, got in without a queue on the first day, and left the character there the entire time. I didn't have any problems with lag or anything, but then I did my best to stay away from other people. The most activity I saw was when I went to Bruma for the dailies, and that was mostly NPCs.

Only reason I didn't pick the top option was because I did keep getting random loading screens, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row, when I was just on my own in the middle of nowhere. Each one only lasted for a few seconds but it was still annoying.

I ran characters, for various reasons, thorough every campaign except Kyne. That includes Vivec. Multiple times through Vivec even during what would be considered primetime.

Overall, while I had a handful of freezes and disconnects, the overall lag was rarely as bad as to make things unplayable. And nowhere as bad as I've experienced in the past.

Queue times were definitely longer, but as I only run DC in Vivec and Shor, I feel like they were manageable relatively speaking. I was never a higher starting number than the 80's.

Played in Shor and Sotha most of the time. Queues weren't too long, performance was better than i experienced in the two weeks leading up to the event. Lots of action all over the maps. BG's were problematic, the queue seems to have become more broken as the event went on, which is a pity. overall, I deem it a success for myself, definitely more so than last year.

I was in Cyrodiil maybe for an hour, it was in Shor. It was laggy during massive battles. But still it was not enough time to get infinite loading screens or something, so my opinion is mostly from Battlegrounds...
Battlegrounds are bugged very much for me :/

"Somebody declined..." many times in a row.

"Forming group" for few minutes and then "Activity no longer valid"

"Forming group" for a minute or a bit more and then suddenly getting into loading screen to battleground when I usually forget about it and I'm in the middle of picking flower/chest... :| Thus when stuck in "Forming group", I literally have to stand still for few minutes if I don't want to risk anything (standing still for few minutes and get "Activity no loger valid" is priceless :D - time well-spent ).

Getting into matches which never start cause we're "Waiting for players" is the worst - it can happen few times in a row, and one evening it took me about 3 hours to complete 5 matches cause of this bug :/ That time I wasted 1 hour in a row; 20 minutes penalty from first bugged instance, getting into second bugged instance and after another 20 minutes getting into third bugged match :o Or when I had little time to play and could only do 1 match per character... First character got into bugged instance. Not wasting more than 2 minutes waiting, I relogged to other character - and got into the same instance (I memorized few players and they were still there waiting and wasting their time). It's absolutely outrageous that this bug wasn't even acknowledges by developers, thus we can't hope for fix :/

And yes, I still have weird lag cases in battlegrounds as usual - I can cast ability, it doesn't go off, I press the button again - and then ability goes off two times in a row, wasting my resources and giving me frustration :/

Of course when the matches actually started, abilities were acting normal, and teams were decent - those times were nice :)

Sotha Sil had long queues in primetime as expected, easy to get into the temporary campaigns.
    Only trivial technical problems.
    Had lots of fun.

Selected wrong, should be Very satisfied.
Entry queues was an problem and worse:
Some of the pugs was badly leed and other had the wrong competition of players. Was in one group with just a couple of healers who had no idea that they was doing. Used most of my stamina on vigor, lots of battles and we wiped a lot because of it.
Logging off and entered with my templar healer. Next group was half healers and only did PvDoor :)

I played mostly Vivec for a few hours each day, and apart from the long queue to get in, I had a blast. For me there was little to no lag, only a couple of disconnects, and the in-combat bug seemed to resolve faster (though it's still annoying). I was also pleasantly surprised that I had no huge ping spikes during huge zerg vs zerg battles during the event, because in the past I'd usually see spikes to 999+ and then disconnect. So, a very positive experience for me this time and much appreciated.

I don't like PVP but nevertheless I thought I would give it go.

I managed to get all the tickets I needed (which was 8) did a bit of fighting, kept getting killed
and decided it wasn't for me.

Glad I tried it but not sure I will venture into Cryodiil anytime soon again, give me PVE anyday ...lol

PC NA played in Malacath (CP, 7 day temp campaign) during this event. No queue to get into campaign and no performance problems while in Cyridiil.

Needed 10 tix so did a scouting mission each of 5 days with no problem.

I'm a PvE player but took one stam dps, one tank and one healer from tutorial up through Caltrops at Alliance level 6 with a combination of joining a few others to capture keeps/resources and repairing walls/doors. The double AP scroll really eased this process and was my fave aspect of the event.

The Event really wasn’t any different than normal PvP in terms of performance.

The spots that you would normally expect lag, disconnects, and other underperfomances did.

It seems that Murkmire Update and its incremental patches helped to improve performance in Cyrodiil.
I came back after a few months break from ESO and I'm surprised to see how good the performance is.
My game didn't crash even once and there is a significant improvement to both fps and overall playability.
The queues were much shorter than last time, 250 for Vivec and 30 to Shor instead of last time 800+ for Vivec and 100+ for Shor.
Though I suspect that all this may also be due to the PVP community smaller size, there were fewer organized groups and fewer players than the last year's Midyear Mayhem event.
