Necromancer - what we know so far...

Necromancer will be introduced in the upcoming Chapter.

I'd like to dedicate this thread to all the information about Necromancer we got today so please help complete this post!

Skill lines: (seems like they haven't decided the names yet)




Living Death / Soul Mending (Healer)
Skills: update this later but there seems to be a
Release Essence: like Healing Springs burst heal initially, if dropped onto a corpse it additionally adds a HoT
Resurrect ability



Bone Tyrant / Bone Armor (Tank)



Skills:
Ultimate: turn into a bone colossus

Reaper / Elementalist (DPS)



Skills:
Graveyard: ground AoE damage, if dropped onto a corpse it deals bonus damage

- No permanent pets; Necromancer pets are "fire and forget"

- Necromancers do use / consume corpses; either from fallen enemies or they "produce" corpses themselves

- Necromancers will cause Justice Reactions throughout Tamriel

Hell yeah, finally get that skill that lets me rez the other three red circle magnets I get teamed up with in dungeons simultaneously!

Preferably as NPC's doing about 20k dps each.

I am kinda worried about some things that were mentioned there (on the stream).
Basically necromancer will get stronger when there are more corpses around. And the word "any corpse will do" was also mentioned.
My first thought: Those moments in Cyrodiil PvP when one side is trying to push the keep wall breach / gate and there is a lot of dead players on the ground... Yeah...
I was kinda worried that necromancer will be OP in PvP and the stream seemed to only confirm my worries even more...

What kind of reactions?

They did not mention it specifically but if you do some "evil" Necromancy stuff right next to NPCs you will cause a justice reaction, depending on what you did I'd say you're get a bounty or the guards are trying to catch you.

Most likely just a bounty.

They specifically said: If a NPC sees you doing any Necromancer abilities, that they will call guards.

So I am thinking this will be like when youget caught stealing something and they call the guards.

weird, in the Bethesda extension in the poll thingie the DPS line was called reaper, and I'm pretty sure the Healing line had another name also.

Soul Mending sounds awesome, Bone Armor sounds like work in progress and Elementalist just feels off.

Their plan is to "change" the feeling how the NPCs see and interact with you as a Nectomancer.

For some reason I like healing tree the most. Dps tree is making me worried a bit. Don't want another clunky skill line.

So are we just going to ignore the bone colossus transform ultimate and bone dragon breathe ultimate impacting pvp performance? By the look on the concept arts those are going to be huge, much bigger than the character casting them, I can only imagine what will happen to performance when more than 5 necromancers cast an ultimate in a large scale fight.

For all what we heard i feel like Necro will be a Zerg class. Magicka warden is already the worst class to 1vx with. Please dont make Necro impossible to play solo!

Should do a poll to see what abilities will have stamina morphs.

I'm very glad Necromancer got an entire skill line dedicated towards healing.
