Greystag✭✭✭✭Daggerfall CovenantIn terms of preference and personal opinions I've always liked the DC, originally because of the colour. A close second is the EP, and the AD can go eat a bag of muatras (and I main an Altmer 🤔).
If we're talking about Questlines, I'd say AD is the best because of it's solid and consistent storyline. DC is pretty good too. EP was a bit chaotic and I don't remember most of it.
In terms of landscapes and areas, AD is by far the most boring. It has some neat places but too little variety. I liked the contrasts in both DC and EP, but I'd have to go for EP being the best because I'm a sucker for snowy landscapes.
I completely agree. I hate people that get extremely worked up when it comes to alliances in games, especially in ESO, because it's something so trivial. I even received death threats through whispers after having won a duel against an AD member, and just because my Alliance War rank was a different colour than theirs. mjharper✭✭✭✭Ebonheart PactI like the progression of the AD storyline best, but EP integrates so well into other content of the game: the Murkmire prelude quests, Murkmire itself, Vvardenfell, Fighter's Guild makes more sense somehow, Thieves Guild first quest is off Eastmarch, and so on. In Vivec, the only way AD take all scrolls almost every morning, the only single way, is by completely outnumbering the other two alliances between around 5-8am. Even when that's not happening I've been with small groups of DC several times that have taken out way larger numbers of AD attacking our keeps (usually before evening GMT time). So I'm guessing quite a few EP players have done the same too.
I think there's also a fair amount of AD players that see the other two as "zerging" them down every day. Well, if others in AD didn't take scrolls almost every single morning before players are around that just simply wouldn't happen, there'd be no reason to focus on AD like there is now. I blame ZOS for a lot of this, making the scrolls worth so much. They could improve it a fair bit by doing something like what I suggested a while back :
Scroll taken from alliance with no bars on pop : 2 points,
1 bar : 4 points,
2 bars : 6 points,
3 bars : 8 points.
Then 10 points could only happen if server has all 3 alliances pop locked.
If that happened almost every morningcap would give them scrolls worth 12 points per hour instead of 60. Campaigns would have less chance of being a total joke almost every month.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭Daggerfall CovenantDaggerfall Covenant - of all the factions I think they're the most "humane" and less for the "reign supreme" approach of fighting. As someone said, they seem to be the most ethical faction with reasonable morals.
I never liked Ebonheart Pact, I very much like Ayren but dislike the High Elf attitude (and don't like Wood Elves either).

To answer your question, it's AD. Contains my 2 favourite races, Khajiit and Altmer - but also my least favourite race: Bosmer. Can't stand 'em!

Orcs, descends from elves, then they have elf blood but they are not elves anymore (like the falmers). Neither the Orcs or any other elf (or race in Tamriel) consider them elves anymore. They were completely ostracized from the elves, that's why they are called the pariah folk. People played one quest in Skyrim and they think they know...
They are still elves: Orsimer.

✭✭✭✭✭EP. They're always pop locked. ZOS even confirmed they have the highest population.
TES III and V both took place in EP, so everyone naturally picks that as their main faction. TES IV was in Cyrodiil. AD and DC haven't had a single mainline game in their territories (other than TES I and II, but no one played those, and the environments weren't memorable).

Not judging or anything, I mean, I chose DC because I like the color blue, lol. Well, and because there aren't as many dunmer or altmer NPCs to interact with - racist jerks!
