I think it was the other day when I was doing my usual rounds of thievery in vvardenfell. Somebody was already picking the lock on a safebox, but I figured I might as well wait and see if they actually open it. They failed, I unlocked it, and lo and behold there was a vvardenfell painting in it. Was so happy I almost screamed XD

I think it was August when they had the Psijic Crates as a daily login reward and somehow I won the apex Psijic Senche Exemplar. I thought that was as lucky as it gets, then the next month they had Dwarven Crates and I won the radiant apex Adamant Dwarven Horse. Two months in a row and back-to-back free apexes!

I know I've certainly used up all my crate luck for the next bazillion years, but I those free crates and really wish they'd bring them back for the login rewards.

Got the Frostbane Sabre Cat out of the last crate (bought the pack of four, and for some really weird reason, bought one more - cat came out of the fifth one).

Best luck I've had all year, barring hitting every light green in town the other day (probably 20 total).

The only time I beat Veteran Maelstrom Arena was during a double-drop event. I got the flame staff and the bow, both in good or perfect traits.

I too miss the free crates for login. Makes me a grumpy panda, considering how much IRL money I spend on this game.... Nope, you don't really want to know.

2014: after literally months of searching desks and dressers etc, I finally got the fabled Daedric motif. Ah the good old days. I recently found an Imperial motif book in a random barrel of all places, but everyone's had that for years. RNG hates me, Pacarooti hates me, so other than that I got nothin;.

I once found 3 Imperial motifs in a day, and another the next day. I was farming them among other things for a couple of days before the crown store happened, because I assumed (correctly I believe as I've not found another since!) that they would be rarer to find when ZOS started charging real money for them I think that was pretty lucky

Nah I waited dude just ran off when an npc walked nearby, he was also completely naked so no idea what was going on with that guy lol

Aetheric cipher and I don't even realized it till I headed to merchant sold junk stuff.

Learnt that 150% xp recipe and think it'll be worth it. Not even craft it once yet cause I really don't need that xp boost.

Same thing goes with 100% and 50% xp drink, I never crafted them ONCE, though I might need it but then I really don't.

In terms of pure RNG probably a resplendent sweet roll from free crown crates (I’ve never bought any). In terms of accomplishments vMA first time is up there along with first successful 1vX (as in 8 or 9 kills in a row drawn out using LOS), then when I first joined Valheru’s guild, when I started playing seriously after a long break prior to One Tamriel, someone gave me a free motif chapter worth 30-40k and since I had no money then I felt super lucky, especially since it was my first day in the guild.

Got flame Apex wolf from free level up rewards, but also got psjiic wolf at same time from free crate. Then bought one crate during Halloween season and got Apex headless rider wolf.

I think my spirit animal is a wolf after this.

The moment that immediately comes to mind would be a double kena mask style page drop from a little while back. Those were the 2nd and 3rd pages I'd gotten from farming the vWGT as I had gotten the 1st a day or two earlier.

On a side note, I got a guildie to start farming the dungeon for a bit with me after stating just how (relatively) easy it actually is. She had thought it was still a rather difficult dungeon... until we started consistently doing speed runs.

I am collector and I was dreaming to get the cipher and learn the recipe since it was introduced with One Tamriel, the obsession became so bad that I started actually seeing how I get it in my dreams and when I woke up I wasn't sure if it actually happened... I still wouldn't have it if it wasn't for my friend We were talking about it some time before, I told him about my unhealthy obsession with getting it. I still hope to beat the RNG someday so I can find the cipher for my friend as he did for me.

One day I got the legendary Burning Spellweave inferno staff after 2 years of farming, and the next day my progression group cleared vAS+2. That darn staff is blessed I tell you.

Jist had a vAA HM where we had a lot of atronachs up when we went into execute on The Mage. We killed them right as everyone died except for the tanks, who then rezed the other healer and popped igneous shield to keep him alive long enough to get his heals going. Then they rezed everyone else and we finished it. Felt good to come back from an almost certain wipe.

My luckiest moment was probably getting the radiant purple pjiic horse from 4 crates, and a sweet roll from a free crate.

I miss the good ol' days of farming for OG full motifs like Daedric, Ancient Elf, etc. Now we have this grind for page after page after page junk just to artificially inflate in-game time of players chasing the carrot. I'd much prefer a more rare, complete motif over the somewhat more common pages we currently have. At least then when you got one it was of some value if you didn't need it, and if you did need one you could actually locate it in a guild store on consoles.
