While I agree with the "don't necro dead threads," the timing is rather important.
Week 4 of Jubilee includes Undaunted Pledges. With any luck, rewards won't be tied to using the group finder, which was the downfall of the event late last year. Buuuut gl to the not-so-social people who cannot form groups without the finder.
Go old skool, kids. Sit outside the pledge and group up with randos there.6 -

@mairwen85 I still waiting on the details so it is not a dead thread and additional we have a event that partially involves the group finder even if it does not force you to use it. And if i remember right they used the grp tool for the last of those events so i am not sure if they did not change this one just because they have not really made fixes to it.

As reward boxes are tied to undaunted pledges you don't need to use the finder, just get an group and do pledges on normal or vet.

*Tickets* are tied to eating cake each day, IIRC. I just don't know about any drop boxes that may be tied to the GF.0 -

Fight your fellow players! Complete Alliance War and Battlegrounds daily quests to earn Gift Boxes that have a chance to also include Abnur Tharn Outfit Style pages. This includes Cyrodiil Town dailies, all Board missions, the Cyrodiil dailies, the Battlegrounds dailies, and Imperial City dailies.
I just did read all the details and you use the group tool again in form of battleground dailies.
Battlegrounds queues are already broken on EU prime time and this event will not make it any better.

Although not completely necessary for the upcoming events, it would make things a lot easier if the activity finder would actually work. But especially with how the group finder is acting the last couple of days, lets just say I have my doubts. So I'm quite surprised to see an event like this where a lot of people will use the activity finder for. Expecting a lot of frustrating queuing going on in a few weeks, hope you proof me wrong!0 -

✭✭Again, last evening we tried to queue for a specific dungeon with a pre-made group of four.
Again, it took us 5 to 10 minutes each time to get in, after multiple "someone declined" errors. In a pre-made talking on Discord timing their accept clicks. This is seriously ridiculous.

Well based on an announcement on the PTS subforum, they are planning another dungeon event in Q3 possibly, but it sounded like it might only require the last boss to be killed, and wouldn't require the use of the group finder. My translation of that is they have no idea how to fix the group finder, so they will instead just change the event format to avoid being tethered directly to it.
You want to attempt group finder to complete a dungeon you can try, but it won't be required. AKA - They don't have a fix planned for the immediate future (ever?).Feric51
