Step in the right direction. Thanks for acknowledging the problem.

For next year, maybe consider adding the boxes to the undaunted daily quests (all of them, dungeon pledges and delve missions from Bolgrul). It would allow some flexibility to your players (do delves, pledges, whatever, just be Undaunted!) and might not overtax the dungeon finder tool so heavily. Just a thought.

Can I also suggest you do not hold another Group Finder event until you find a way to stop players queuing up for a role they are not prepared/set up to do?

I also agree that 1 per account per day is also pretty lame as 'compensation', especially when people may have missed out on anything up to 15 per day. Sounds like you are only protecting the in game economy by restricting the influx of motifs.

Wow, you really want those motif pages to be worthless. There are already people who farmed over 100 boxes during the event. You would like them to have the opportunity to farm over 300 more? People won't be able to give away scalecaller and fang lair.

I don't care about how much the motifs sell for, my only concern is about giving those people who were genuinely put at a disadvantage with the problems a fair go.

I probably got at least 40 boxes during the event with no care about what I might sell the motifs for. There are some of the later ones I was missing and it's an opportunity to get them.

Agreed. This is a nice gesture on their part, that they didn't have to acknowledge or compensate people for it.

Besides, even when GF was working, that didn't stop selfish people from rushing through the dungeon and making it a negative experience for others just because 'they got other toons to run' for the rewards. This change will limit these kind of encounters for other players. This is an MMORPG after all.

Does it suck? Sure. But if it weren't for the mishap with GF, we wouldn't even have this compensation. People will always want more and more. At least you're still getting something instead of nothing at all.

Worth noting that the new life festival is significantly longer than the undaunted event, so while it's not 100% equal it's still quite a bit of extra boxes we can get now even at one per day.

Props to ZOS for their response, I know I appreciate it.

This is a good solution.

For the que finder issues, I think its just a problem with tank/healer to dps roles. I didnt experience many problems other than extremely long que times.

A few times it had our premade group re accept que by "putting us to the front of the que" even though everyone excepted. one time the que just straight up stopped and didnt provide a dungeon and ended the que. But honestly the thing that i had the largest problem with was the hr + waits when I didnt run with guildmates.
