NA PC server - Steam and non-Steam launches both work fine until the character selection screen.

Character: Gildrethil
Zone: Vvardenfell (Vivec City)
Result: endless loading from character selection screen

EU PC server - Steam launch failed repeatedly, non-Steam launch works fine until the character selection screen

Character: S'Rasin
Zone: Sleek Creek House
Result: smooth login
Note: zoning from house to Rawl'kha worked fine

Character: Laielena
Zone: Saint Delyn Penthouse
Result: smooth login
Note: porting to Sleek Creek House and zoning to Rawl'kha worked fine, dozens of guildies online and changing zones, at least two shown as active in Vvardenfell

Character: Alyona al-Elinhir
Zone: Vvardenfell (Vivec City)
Result: smooth login
Note: porting to Vulkhel Guard wayshrine in Auridon zone worked fine

Character: Brandhildr Bear-Bane
Zone: Vvardenfell (Vivec City)
Result: smooth login
Note: porting to Lilmoth wayshrine in Murkmire zone and back to Vivec City wayshrine in Vvardenfell zone worked fine just before posting this

I also can't login at all. It doesn't even load the character screen. My character is Auridon. I am using PC / EU /Steam.

PC, regular non-steam account, only first character will actually log on to game world, the rest just spin at requesting character load... moving another character to the first slot makes no difference, but the first character I created when I started playing, CAN get on just fine...

I have two accounts both are pc na non steam accounts. My original account all toons can log in three in crag four in murkmire and one in wayrest. Second account seven toons in vivic none seem able to log in. Only the eighth toon can and he is in Auridon.

I can imagine how stressful this is for the developers, testers and sys admins. Stuff happens and it's just a game. Try to send some supportive, happy thoughts their way.

I'm sure they're working their butts off to get this fixed asap so we can all go have some weekend ESO fun.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I went and doubled check. My main character is in Vardenfell, and tried another character in Auridon and that character loads. So I take it Vardenfell is the issue here? Not sure if other provinces are effected but so far it's Vardenfell for me, but Auridon is ok. Hope this helps.

It was a long wait (four minutes), but I did manage to log in. Loaded into the front porch of the Twin Arches house, Bangkorai. (NA server)

Next time just don't do this event, it's coupled along with a lot of inconvenience.
It's almost Sunday for me and my toons have not progressed.
Well at least I've manage to divert my attention to some real world stuff.

I can't pass the level of connecting my account into server, and like I'm french, there is no information about what happen .
But it is not that something would go smoothly when guys you are treating an ancient and well know issue of group finder during a saturday. Again a day of playing / ESO+ lost for nothing. Next time let it be and dont try to save awfully thinking event.

Good job! Game is even more bustificated than before. super slow loads on PC and character getting lost half the time going to player house requiring me to Alt F4 the client.

Can't change to any zone right now. When I try to change zones it gets stuck at load screen forever.

I can't event get to the character selection screen, keep gettung "Connection to the server timed out" error.

That was my third day trying to get to play in this event. The ESO problems are really getting bad at the moment.

Might be too late to help but I had trouble logging in last night (took 8 - 10 tries to log into the base game) and I had trouble loading all of my characters. One was in Deshaan (though that one was easier to get in on I think) and the rest were in the Gold Coast. I did manage to get logged in once last night and tried a dungeon q but then got stuck in an infinite loading screen for Fungal Grotto I.

Jordan_Black - all characters, PC North America, no Steam.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I tried my other 7 characters and they all loaded when no in Vvardenfell. I also tried something. I had one character go to Summerset to see if this was a DLC issue or not. I loaded in Summerset. Tried to fast travel to Vvardenfell and screen never loaded. So I take it Vvardenfell is the issue here?

As a side note, since I don't know much about computers, does anyone know what happens if I let my laptop keep "loading" waiting to see how long it takes to get in Vvardenfell? I shut it down after two minutes of being worried I am causing the laptop to work so wear and tear for no good reason. How long is a good time to wait, or shut down so no wear and tear on the laptop? Maybe closing it down after two minutes will do no harm but not sure so erring on the safe side.

PC-NA here (no Steam); I have one on PC-EU but I'm sure it's the same thing because I have all my toons parked in Vvardenfell. The characters I have parked in Summerset load fine, but I'm getting endless "Requesting Character Load" on those characters I have parked in Vvardenfell.

All characters on pc/na and pc/eu on my main account and alt accounts. None will load all logged out in Vvardenfell by the stable trainer outside Vivec City. All are non steam.

I'm being charged gold everytime I wayshrine, get into the loading screen, and endless hang. Alt+F4 out after 5-10 minute waits, re-log into my character, I'm still in my original spot. Try to wayshrine again and the price has increased due to the "You've used the wayshrine recently" thing you got going. Maybe change it so the gold is not taken until you arrive rather than before you arrive for when these issues occur...

Any ETA on a fix for this though? I'd like to start my crafting reseach/crafting writs/level my mount skills
