Im just curious on what some of the rarest items everyone has acquired and by rarest I dont mean the most expensive I mean something that not many people have or possibly even that no one has, for example I have the original dyloras staff that you could get from the lich of mournhold that was a dolmen boss but i didn't get mine from a dolmen i paid 1mil for it from someone this was before it was farmable in crypt of hearts and had a really low drop rate and it even has a different texture from the new one from crypt of hearts.

✭I personally collected all seven pieces of the Dwemer Theodolite runebox in Nchuleftigth, giving my Dwemer ruins explorer character quite a rare and quite a fitting pet to follow her around.

Farmed ore in Bal Foyen, at 400 I got the first. Two days later the same.
Day 4 or 5, nothing happened, I was about to log out and took a rune stone - bam! Dust #3.
Then it took me 1 or 2 years for #4.

When they added a bunch of monster sets and Ilambris was all the rage, I had 250 keys ready to spend and my first pull was a divines ilambris. I was like, WTF do I do now? Haha
Shortly after VMA launched (way before trait change), I got a precise VMA destro pretty early on, and for about 6-8 months after launch, it was the preferred trait in a high end raid. Once sharp became king, I went back to farming it. No luck for months, and then finally I thought I would run it on my DK for giggles and to go for flawless. Pulled to sharp infernos in a row almost a year to the day from my first clear.
In VHOF, I pulled two War Machine Daggers out of two consecutive chests after the third boss on the same run.
In nHRC, I pulled a dagger and axe of advancing yokeda out of consecutive chests near the horn on the same run.
I once pulled two imperal motifs in the span of 24hours. Up to 4 total.

The Aatheric Cipher drops from any monster in base game zones.
Literally hundreds of thousands of kills later, still never seen one. It IS truly "Mythic".
But my most rare item I have acquired is probably my "Bristle Gut Piglet" from QuakCon 2014...
