I once got 3 Imperial motif books in 3 days, and 2 Aetherial Dust on 2 of those days. My character was rich for a week...

Since then I got a purple Clockwork Illuminator Tower plan, and a blue Fabricant Cobalt Tree plan, a few purple Alinor plans and the Telvanni motif whole book.

Ball of Yarn is a reward from a side quest in Vvaedenfel involving a healer and an alchemist. Possibly you can also pickpocket it from NPCs there, as it is the case with other furnishings. Certainly not rare since the MM for it is ~400 gold.

I've gotten a theodolite part each time I did the Dwemer public dungeon (on different characters); once I even got 2 in a few minutes. They're worth ~2K now so it's also a common item.

My Inferno staff on my second run of vMA during the Orsinium event Haven't seen a single one since. One day I will get my elusive BSW inferno staff though, RNG gods be willing.

I had (and still have) a thing for the unique dolmen gear. Stuff like Volar's crescent staff and Ozozzachars sword. Actually golded out Volar's staff just for fun, and it looks awesome. Would really want the 1h dagger from Dregas Volar but you can't get those items anymore If anyone happens to have it unbound, you know who to contact

I've gotten some of the purple items as well like golden saints tooth, they're pretty cool. Also keeping all the old discontinued dungeon sets like shield of the man-bull and necklace of sardavar, healing staff of thorn, the ring of blue ice, and so on, VR14. Sucks that I never got all of them

Got a Resplendent Sweetroll from a free Crown Crate. Converted it into 400 gems after some deliberation....

Got the whole armor set of the discontinued since 2016 or so, set of the Worm, still unbound, in Divinies, in the bank. That was before the Wormcult set was made dropping in Vaults of Madness and be bound on pickup. Not a super rare set but kinda fun to keep those old versions of it.

I've looted a single Aetherial Dust in my entire three years of playing.

Though I think I read somewhere that they made it stop being dropped when they made it purchasable in the Master Writ Merchant.

It's not technically a loot, but it felt like it because it was both challenging and required a good amount of luck.
I once won a full set of the lich, with a golden dylora staff (all unbound, from cyrodiil I guess), it was an event organized by my trading guild. A long and very well written story relating the adventures of a khajiit throughout Tamriel, and we had to go to each place the khajiit went, and answer several questions along the lines of "I don't remember it well, what color were the hair of [Insert obscur NPC name]", or "How many cats were on the first floor of the house". The last question was the number of buckets next to the little pool in cracked wood cave (cyrodiil), and then, you had to send all the answers to the GM in a mail. It took a lot of time, I was under pressure because of the numerous concurrents, and I was focused and strategically organized like never before xD

Dunno really. Maybe a sharpened Vicious Ophidian dagger in a simple chest, and then an infused one at final boss at the same run. I think the odds are pretty low for that.
