Is there a feather event going on?

I am having trouble remembering lately so not sure. Is there an event going on to get feathers or what not? If so how is it done? By that was it like last time we had to kill a world boss and get some skulls or something or is it different this time and if so, how so? All I remember was the last event wasn't any fun and I just gave up because not understanding how it worked. 20 hour cool down, 24 hour cool down? What was it? How does it work this time?

I'm sorry you missed out on doing the first event. All you had to do was get one Dremora Plunder Skull a day (they came from many sources, you could pick the one easiest for you and do just that or do several for regular skulls, but there was a 20 hour cooldown on receiving the special Skull), and go to the vendor once you had 10 tickets and buy the feather.

The current event gives you two tickets a day; you need to do a daily quest in the Clockwork DLC (AND turn it in) to get the tickets added to your wallet. If you don't own CLC you can join the current free trial of ESO Plus to get access to it during the event and need to do the intro and some of the main quest to unlock the dailies. The dailies reset every 24 hours, I believe at 1 am Eastern time.

You can hold at most 12 tickets but can earn more than that from the event, so be sure to buy your feather before you fill up on tickets. The vendor should have the first event's feather plus the new one; if you do at least ten dailies during the event (so hit it for 10 days) you will have enough to pick up both feathers. The tickets show up in the currency tab of your inventory, they are not items. Check your inventory asap to see if you happened to get any tickets in the first event by opening yellow plunder skulls, you may already be on your way.

@Davor - the run-and-collect dailies are the pits. Way too many people, not nearly enough spawns or high enough spawn rate. Go to Shadow Cleft or the other delve (ack, can't remember what it's called) and first do the quest for it. Turn the quest in, then you can do the delve daily for 2 tickets. I've just been doing Shadow Cleft every day. It's pretty easy. Hardest part is finding the people you need to find for the daily - I did eventually find a map online that shows where they all are: https://esomap.uesp.net/?centeron=The+Shadow+Cleft&world=Clockwork+City

From that map, hover over the Shadow Cleft delve icon, you'll get a white balloon popup. Last line in there is a blue link stating "Jump to Destination" - click that, and you'll get the map for the delve itself with location markers for the people you need to find.

Whatever you do don’t take the Slag Town Orc quest unless you like rapid maneuvering all over the map and taking death plunges off of cliffs in a mad frantic dash for resource nodes.

Good luck on the feathers. Thats zone is nothing but lvl 810s fighting over nodes.

The zone is way too small for an event. Just creates a toxic environment.

Which one is that? Getting wood and coal? I done that one. It's really frustrating trying to find wood. Wish I read this post before I did it lol.

Just to make sure, the time resets at 1am EST so I don't need to worry about 20 hours or whatever?

The dailies for CWC reset at 1am EST but, I think, for the event tickets, you still need to worry about the 20 hours from the last time you got them.

IMO, the world boss dailies are the quickest except, in my case, I started two weeks ago saving for the Crow dailies. So, for me, the crow is the quickest.
