    @ZOS_Finn Why do you need a wide net? We've been quite specific about what's broken in vet Cloudrest:
    • After 40% boss health, Creepers do not spawn. Z'Maja does the animation to spawn Creepers, and the game reports the combat event for the Creeper spawn, but they don't actually spawn.
    • After 40% boss health, if someone dies, they do not spawn a Shade, even though they still have the Shade of the Fallen debuff which makes them unrezzable.

    These are two very specific problems that we've reported, with simple, straight-forward steps to reproduce, and they have absolutely nothing to do with addons.

    The other reports being reported, as I noted earlier, appear on the surface to be issues related to rendering/graphics and may not necessarily be related to the trials themselves.

    Because the issue is not just impacting Cloudrest. According to the above posts, other trials are alos effected

    There are two separate issues here. The first the a rendering issue, where effects become invisible. This affects all trials. These issues are a nuisance and make things harder (in some cases, like spears not rendering in vCR, a lot harder), but they don't outright break the trial.

    In addition to these aforementioned rendering issues, Cloudrest suffers from mechanical issues that do break the trial.

    Well there was nothing done towards fixing bugsd in trails on mondays patch, so I expect ZOS to fix some of it by monday the 5th, or even th 12th...(hopefully the 5th, since its annoing af)

    it bugs out randomly. have had instances with no bugs, and some with lots of visual bugs. at least creepers are spawning.

    Are these rendering problems happening in dungeons, too? I imagine the issues are way, way more noticeable in trials because there are (a) more people (b) spending more time in them with (c) more mechanics reliant on visual effects but maybe looking for a solution based on what's happening in this setting (trials) will limit the team's ability to pinpoint the problem? I dunno.

    In another thread someone wondered whether this change from the patch could have anything to do with the problems:
    Area of Effect abilities within Dungeons and Trials are now much more accurate when dealing damage from within those effects, reducing those “I was out of that!” moments.

    @ZOS_Finn can we get an update on this topic please, there where 2 Patches since this Thread was opened and those Bugs havent been adressed in either of them.

    Those bugs arent limited on vCR only, also vMoL and vHoF seem to expierience similar bugs, so its pretty annoing for Raidgroups to go anywhere except vAS, vHOF and vet Craglorn...oh wait HELRA still broken nvm that one ;)

    especially for Progress evenings when you wold have a great setup, but half of the group dont get the Renderings, its annoing and slows progression.

    Ive encountered alot of rendering problems with the Siroria set, where the circle does not show up, but the buffs are stacking up. In trials and also in dungeons and sometimes even overland. But mostly in trials.

    But the rendering problems arent only in vCR, also vHRC (Upper side bosses meteor hitting you with no warning or aoe indicator)

    It's absolutely not Addons related since all the rendering issues ( white streak lines coming out of a character, bosses and characters animations not showing, delayed mechanics, textures failing to load ) are happening on console @ZOS_Finn

    Did some +1 vCR's last night, all 3 possible combinations. We were able to clear. Completely logging out and back in did seem to fix the rendering issues for individuals that had them. It seems to be very hit or miss with people getting them, and you just need to relog until you get "lucky" and get a good instance, where the effects all show up.

    Another consideration we made was adjusting the number of particles that are able to be shown. Perhaps the changes to the accuracy of AOE effects increase the particles to the point that they weren't all rendering? However, many people can't have their particles and view range set to full, as the frame rates will be reduced to an unplayable amount.

    I think it's something textures related because everything else is fine.
    And the white streak lines are the first signal that something has failed to load or *** like that and it's causing a cascade of failures that make the instance go banana.
    Even yesterday night, everything worked "fine" until one of our players got the spidersilks behind him, from that point on everything turned slowly into a laggy and horrible mess.

    It might be possibly related to the fix they did on AoEs then, I won't exclude anything, I'm getting pretty used to experience a week of no PvE activities after every Patch Release.

    What really grinds my gears is that these problems have been identified on PC a good two weeks before the thing dropped on console. I'm not saying a solution should be out there already but at least some kind of information about what is causing it, what is happening, if we'll ever get a fix...

    There is a line item about major expedition effects getting stuck on players being fixed. In my experience, when trial performance went wonky (and rendering stopped), it was always when there was a player running around with broken major expedition effects - things might be ok now? I don't have any trials until the weekend to check.

    Any PC people can tell if yesterday patch fixed trials so I can at least know that we console plebes have only 2 weeks to wait before being able to do trials consistently again?

    @Weps we were able to clear a couple of +3's tonight in vCR with minimal issues. We had not been able to clear at all before on the Murkmire patch until now, however we had been clearing regularly during the Wolfhunter patch. No rendering issues for the group. Only issue we had come up was the shade bug that's been around since launch.

    Whatever they did with the major expedition lines seemed to "fix" all the other issues that were going on at this time.

    The issues did seem to be worse on the weekends previously, so I'll withhold final judgment until we raid on Thursday and Friday.

    There are still issues, especially with Relequen. Interrupting them is a chore when they're channelling their attack, heavy attacks are difficult to anticipate and seem to just happen whenever without much telegraph.

    Damage also seems to be occurring before the attack is rendered, causing sudden deaths for group members that they don't notice until the death recap appears. Orbs in the portal are not always intractable, causing issues for the portal teams.

    Creepers and the AOE and gold pads in the portal are spawning properly on Z'Maja thankfully.

    We did not see any of these issues in our runs, but I would not be surprised to hear that there were still some issues. Even before you would sometimes get a "good" instance where things would work properly, and others where it wasn't. So, maybe we just got lucky.

    We did not see any of these issues in our runs, but I would not be surprised to hear that there were still some issues. Even before you would sometimes get a "good" instance where things would work properly, and others where it wasn't. So, maybe we just got lucky.

    Yeah, it seems to vary a lot. After we had issues with Relequen, we reset the instance and tried again and managed to get to Z'Maja without issue.
