My god. What the hell are you supposed to do here?

I mean, I'm practically getting one shot from that stupid jump move he does. Snakes are everywhere. There's NEVER ANYONE ELSE AROUND TO HELP.

What the hell am I'm supposed to do? Is there like a part of this forum where people gather up and defeat public bosses for that summerset daily quest thingy?

Or am I just sotl?

That boss has been bugged for a while now. It kept resetting and couldn't be killed. People stopped bothering with it most likely, which is why you're not seeing anyone around. [Has it been fixed at all?] Try posting on zone chat. If you have the daily quest and can share it, I'm sure some people will join.

Nope. It keeps flying back to the start and refilling its entire health bar. So I guess it's still bugged.

What do you think of just cancelling that quest and waiting for a fresh daily from that justiciar dude?

You can technically do all of those world boss quests everyday. The npc will only give you one a day but a way to get around that is grouping with people that have another world boss quest and have them share it. Get rid of the keelsplitter quest then group with someone who has another world boss quest to share.

The spot he flies back to when bugged and he resets is not where he starts when it's working. Also the small snakes should not be out before someone pulls. If they are, he's bugged.
Overall though, Summerset WB seem to be slowing down a bit. Couldn't find anyone at gryphons Monday, tried soloing Graveld yesterday but died in last phase where it's both him and adds, no one came by in that time. The weekend was fine, and if I were willing to wait longer I'm sure I could have gotten together a group from zone chat, I was just on a tighter schedule.

It doesn't always bug out, I don't know what triggers it. I've had it reset on my 6-7 times once and gave up, but it was fine again a few days later.

I suggest reading over those responses, idk what your build is but it honestly helped me a lot. Especially the advice to block immediately after getting up from the stun.

In fact, just yesterday I offered to help two guys in zone chat on this boss and they both kept dying and this time I was the only one staying alive! I’ve even gotten the “dont step on snakes” achievement now.

Just be methodical and don’t get frustrated. You can do it!

This one doesn’t bother me, but the stupid Gryphons instajib me without a telegraph, which is always fun.

It doesn’t happen every time so I’m not sure what the deal is.

Also re: never anyone around to help, try asking in zone chat if you’re doing it for a daily quest and offer to share the quest with anyone who will group up to help you. People (like me) really need that culanda for housing purposes. I try to help anyone in zone with a quest I haven’t done yet that day.

I stopped doing the WB dailies. Bosses are buggy and rewards have been absolutely terrible. Motif drops almost never happen for me.

I’m not even getting Lacquer anymore. I’ll pass on the two junk blue armor pieces.

Only one I haven’t completed. And only one I die on when grouped up. Over and over. And his health kept resetting. Bummer.

I love when it gets stuck in the air.

But sounds like you are a melee build. I can solo that on my Mageblade but I am a range attacker with heals and shields. Take a while but I can. I would suggest just asking in area chat and if not, ask in guilds for help. Usually someone shows up.

I get laquor every time I do the daily quests boss or delve in summer set. If this is going to stop after so many then I had better quit selling the lacquer! It’s like my biggest source of income in my trade guild.

If this works for me I’ll send you like 100 gold. Thank you! Wondered how to get that achievement when I can’t even survive on this guy with a group. I never die usually when with a group. I may stop doing much DPS to heal and shield but keelsplitter was killing me twice a minute.

I am on console but, I would have no problem tanking him while you cherry pick off the rock for the achievement. I don't need gold will just be happy if you get it.

KS is a tough boss, there's no denying that. It's also buggy, which can lead to some interesting... fights.

One thing to note: players *must* stay within the enclave. Those who rush out by the ocean to avoid attacks risk resetting KS, which is a major pain. I try telling people this before starting the fight. Most don't heed the message, then QQ and leave, and I have to wait for another group to try it again.

Of late, I've just been abandoning the quest when I get it. It's just not worth the hassle anymore.

I've soloed this with my eyez closed. When I used to do this boss I used to think to myself "Man, this boss is really easy".

You can do it man, just gotta keep w it or worse comes to worst, shout out in zone and try to get a group together.

I love Keelspitter. Other people were hurting Keelspitter,but he didn't harm me and was having a jiggle while i did my sexy dance
