Argonian race taking over ESO

Ever since the previous updates, I noticed the game ESO has been primarily about resource management. I have watch my ESO friends and including other ESO players change almost all their Stamina or Magicka classes to Argonian Dragonknight, Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar or Warden do to the Passive: Resourceful. What's better the 4% shock, fire, frost from the High Elf, 7% fire, 2% shock, frost from Dark Elf, other etc... or the passive: Resourceful which gives you: whenever you drink a potion you restore 4620 Health, Magicka, and Stamina? Honestly the resource management is way better, if you out sustain you're opponents resources, you've pretty much won.

So my question is why play as any other race? I am thinking about changing my Dark Elf Dragonkight, Redguard Dragonknight, High Elf Sorcerer, Orc Sorcerer etc... to Argonian, because of the Resourceful passive. All other races seem to becoming less favored.

once per 45 seconds...or 21 seconds if all jewellery is Infused with enchant for reduced time of cooldown for alchemy potions...
It's equivalent of 205 mana, health and stamina recovery...not so huge yeah?
When u go pvp, resourses are important but not the prime, in many builds your max stats and bonuses are more important.
To nuke the opponent fast and save much more resourses at this.

And, when u go pve...dps is the most important without alternatives
Almost any chances to beat dark elf with argonian at nightblade, templar and manadk, high elf at manasorc and manawarden.
Khajiit and redguard at every stamina class
Argonian are best tanks and healers, but bad damage dealers...it's a fact

Not that you'd necessarily want to, but if you wanted to build a character entirely around the use of potions--starting with choosing Argonian as the race--what would the rest of the potion-specific elements be?

    I imagine they would include:

    1) Maxed alchemy crafting skill line
    2) 5-pieces of Clever Alchemist gear
    3) Potion speed or potion boost enchantments on jewelry

    What else?

5pc Clever, 5 Skooma Smuggler, 2 willpower swords or a staff, 1 kena, 1 domi...run tri stat food, use race against time, allocate plenty of CP in reduced sprint cost, use immovable magicka/health pots, Mage mundus.

Proc Clever and Skooma smuggler off back bar SnB, enjoy @37-39k max magicka, 28 health, and 16k stam, 3.7-4.3k spl dmg, permanent major expedition, cc period of roughly 10 secs, and plenty of sustain without a single cp in recovery....

Try it if you don’t believe...

There’s too many ways for a magdk to get back resources than drinking a pot. Lol. In open world PvP there’s enough lulls to NOT really run out of resources. In PvP I run Alteration Mastery (or seducer or desert rose or something) SOMETIMES instead of 2 damage sets.

I also run Alteration Mastery in duels the only time I truly run out of resources. AND dueling is generally a self-gimped cheesefest.

It’s all about trade-off. Survivabilty vs Sustain vs Damage. There’s a point where one could be accused of overthinking it. There’s no reason to run what everyone else runs or change because all your friends are.

Find a objective metric, some objective standard by which to judge the viability of your build and play style. Avoid the flavor of the month.

I love the Argonian race. I think they have loads of character and I like their raspy, husky voices and wry sense of humour. How boring would it be if we only had stuck up, pretty fashionistas prancing around Tamriel. Hail the beastie folk!!!

Not sure if it's been covered, but with the changes to the Werewolf heal, they are by far the best race for PVP Werewolf and the gap between them and the next best WW race (probably Imperial, Redguard, or Orc), is about as vast as can be imagined.

They get essentially a better than 20% buff to the WW heal due to healing done, healing received, and max health bonuses. Even more important than that though is the fact that they can utilize the heal more frequently due to the argonian potion passives.

Oh, and they are resistant to poison damage, the primary weakness of werewolves.

No. Argonians deserve slow death in car fire.

This always happens when games give unique bonuses to different races. The min/max crowd always complain they aren't 100% balanced and the nerfs ensue - individuality goes out the window - and everyone is reduced to a giant ball of "balanced" mediocrity.

So I say let the lizards keep their passive. I haven't noticed any serious imbalance as it relates to Argonian passives on this game.

I refuse to play this race of filthy animals and I am doing fine on several templates with resource management. Fix your rotation to add on some heavy attacks and you'll be fine.
