Argonian race taking over ESO

Goodness gracious, why do people keep complaining about Argonians actually being useful after what... 2 years or so of near uselessness? Argonians are for tanking and healing. That is all there's to it. Argonians don't make or break game but your skill as player do. Argonians lack quite a bit in damage even as a magicka spec. I don't see what's the problem here. They still all die to same for me. By the way, Imperials and Nords still are there for tanking and are very effective still. DD Templars are Altmers, Bretons can be used still for healing. These races I still see.

I think the other races should be buffed, not argonians nerfed

It's like when you buy a new car and then all of a sudden you see everyone else is driving that same model. LOL. Same with Argonians or Bosmer or whatever. I have 21 characters and have ONE Argonian. I sure don't consider it the Master Race.

We need the argonians to be weak so that they do not have a uprising against their dunmer masters

Racial in ESO is some of the most messed up game mechanics in any competitive game.
They dates back to then we had soft caps and they did not matter much, originally we had racial ultimates, but it was dropped because of protests, I think they would be fun if weaker than meta ultimates so mostly for fun or very situational.

Soft caps went away while the racial stayed, now add the Morrowind mega nerf.
However difference is not significant as I understand its 10% for magic DD on Altmer over races with no magic bonuses. For the rest is less, far less on healer and tanks and an Altmer stamwarden will still do more dps than an magic warden or at least did half a year ago. player skill is way more important.

Its mostly in the players head, they do 10k dps not 40 because of wrong race so no reason to train an rotation or even use set gear just go DD with ice staff and sword and board.
And you get no warning, racial description is pretty much the same as in Skyrim.
i would changed like it was in Morrowind and Oblivion, an starting bonus on skills and faster skill leveling.
Keep some flavor like Argonians can swim faster and Khajiit is better at pickpocket.

Ya, the argonian is way too OP in PvP. They are also great at PvE, i see more and more Argonians eveytime i log in now. Now days all the other races are either builds for trials and dungeons, or for role playing. ZOS, please address this issue with argonians, and rebalance the races

The thing is Argonians were always a joke/meme. But their passive changes has made them very popular, they also will be on their second DLC with Mirkmire

I just want a better racial for my bosmer.... Maybe better damage with a pet out. That'll help tremendously. Don't really care much about argonian to be honest.

racial passives should be deleted and applied as a secondary function of mundus stones OR let people do a quest to attune to their new passive skillset, similar to vampire/werewolf questline. Race should only be a cosmetic feature.

I don't find them taking over by a longshot, I see quite vast diversity on PS4 NA, but elves and humans reign supreme over beast races still in terms of population.

That said I have 2 Argonians myself, Templar and Warden, both healers - but that's because Argonian is naturally built to be healer.

Argonian is the favourite pick for a lot of the best pvp'ers atm, due to their excellent resource management and synergy with potions and healing. All passives fit perfect for a pvp toon roaming around in smallscale or 1vx. Nord is as far as I know the dedicated worst pvp race to pick

Revenge is not the best motivation for balancing the game.
And no, theyre also pretty damn strong for every pvp build. Yes, even tanky stamina builds that are meta these days.
You can argue that altmer is also kinda op, but using altmer for stam build would gimp you. Argonian, though? Gimme those resources!
There is currently no other race that has equally powerful passives.
