Siege Backpack

A backpack that will hold all of your Cyrodiil essentials. Keep organized and prepare for war! Holds all your repair kits, siege weapons, forward camps, et cetera. If you use it for the good fight, it fits in here!

Only if it can only be used outside of Cyrodiil. (Leave Cyrodiil, all PVP equipment goes in bag automatically, freeing your inv up for PVE related stuff.)

Inside Cyrodiil it would give subscribers too much of an advantage over non-subscribers in a competitive environment.

That is the idea, like the craft bag but for pvp toys!

Or make it that siege stays in inventory while in overland, but when you go into pve or places like IC where siege can't be used it goes into the bag. That would make it somewhat balanced while still being useful.

Also allowing siege to stack would help everyone

Siege can't stack, sadly, because each piece has it's own health pool. It's a design choice I get.

they should be divided into 50 hp and 100 hp, so that if you pick up a siege and place it down, it goes back to 100. make siege unable to be picked up until after a while a siege has been damaged to avoid it being abused frequently.

As long as it also comes with a furnishing backpack [because not everybody can afford a storage house] then I'd be down with it.

Then why can't all 100 percent be stacked and it always like it does now selects the lowest health item ...

I can create 600 pots 3 stacks of 200 and fast bar one and they will all be fast barred

Your just buying into ZoS propaganda re seige

While I never siege, I find this idea appealing. I would celebrate if they would add a furnishing backpack.
There are so many things they could add to ESO+, but they probably are not that interested in making constant money.

Keep it simple: All "unused" sieges should stackable. All "used" sieges should not stackable.

So if you use a siege first time it is directly "used" and not stackable anymore. If you put it back into your backpack it is like current siege tools. With this system you free much more space and does not needs an extra backpack.

Additionally siege tools like wood or stones for repairing should stack >100.

The reason is balance in Siege fights. At the moment, if you are attacking a keep, you are limited by how many players have siege, the amount of siege they have in total, and the siege limit itself. Defenders have an advantage in the sense they have unlimited siege whilst their merchant is alive, but are at a huge disadvantage because once the attackers are on the inside of the Keep, it becomes near impossible to set up forward camps, and reinforcements have a hard time getting back in.

There comes a point in some fights where if the defenders can hold out long enough, the attackers run out of seige and they either need to back off in order to take a resource, go back to the nearest seige merchant, or give up altogether. This, along with the 5min cooldown on Forward Camps, creates waves of attack; natural pauses in fights where defenders have a chance to regroup and repair. If seige stacked and players could carry hundreds of siege then you wouldn’t get this. Attackers could keep plugging away no matter how long it takes, and win every time simply by attrition alone. It would especially take the risk/reward out of goind deep behind enemy line to take a Keep, and make defending a keep when you are outnumbered neigh on impossible.

This is quiet a valid point.

With players being able to feasably carry dozens of each particular type, I would image a balance could be found in capping the amount the bag could hold. I never really imagined it as necessarily infinite, but more as a way to and benefit to ESO+ by following in the vein of easing inventory management.
