I'm fully aware that Mag Sorc has some of the best tools in the game compared to other classes and sub classes. I've also been an advocate for re-balancing the Mag Sorc so that I can finally play my favorite class without constantly being harassed by salty players that I tell me I play a broken class and that I'm carried by it.
But, this is the ESO community. Hating on Sorc is the popular thing to do, and I don't think it'll ever fully stop.
And while I believe they could have gone farther with the Rune Cage nerfs, the nerfs they are pushing are a step in the right direction, although fixing the buggy nature of the CC break would be welcome too.2 -
Springt-Über-Zwerge✭✭✭✭Can't remember the last time MagSorc received some buffs rather than nerfs. I think the last time was in december 2016. That misguided rune cage incident was not a buff in my book, it should have never happened.
I wish we would get that templar treatment at least. They get nerfed, but always compensated for it, they never seem to receive pure nerfs.
You want to have a big nerf compensated with a small buff for something noone asked for every update? Believe me its no funPC,EU, EP

Mage's Fury is dodgeable now (initial hit and debuff) and Overload heavy attacks proc enchantments (who even use this?)
Why did we even bother selecting a Sorcerer class representative? To fix 2 bugs and revert 1 broken skill that the whole forum complained about?

I can't see the hate dialling back much next patch... Never really does.
Playing stamblade now. Complete noob with stam, don't have half the passives unlocked yet but already do almost as well as I did on sorc'. And everybody loves me instead :-)Minalan owes me a beer.

✭✭YES - I'm Excited to Play Mag SorcNo its looking more and more like well pigeonhold back into the Reach spamming nightblade fodder class we were pre Summerset that meta was absolutely boring sorc finally feels good to play since Morrowind and it just depressing I know Rune Cage was overpowered but the upcoming changes are concerning and it does help theres 2 or 3 nerf sorc threads a day and the fact ZOS listens to the minority of whiny, garbage players when it comes to nerfing stuff so it looks like I might have to self my sorc again.
