I've no idea what the changes are, but based on past experience they won't make any significant difference to me - although I welcome the principle of change as it's an MMO's evolution that keeps it fresh and appealing. It would be nice if ZOS would make the pets not die to boss mechanics (vSO) and not trigger negative boss mechanics (vHoF), but that would take competence where there is clearly none. Still, on balance, it's a good DD.
I don't use my mSorc in PVP because it is mag, which is clearly inferior to stam in PVP, and also has some issues with being able to fit enough necessary kit on one bar given the basic back-bar heals requirement for magica toons. mSorc has great PVP kit, unfortunately, I have never been able to fit enough of it on at one time to make a cohesive build so it ends up very underwhelming. I can make a sorc dueler, a sorc gank build, a sorc killing blow leach, or a sorc healer, but no build with enough all around utility to play well in group PVP.I am mostly pleased with the current state of ESO. Please do continue to ban cheaters though and you guys have to find out who is duping gold and how because the economy is currently non-functional.0 -

- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

My main has been a mag sorc since launch, so I'll stick with it through the ups and downs, but this change to rune cage just seems like a poorly thought out knee-jerk reaction based on people that main NBs complaining on the forums. I agree changes were needed, but they went with the simplest option they could find to appease the people complaining the loudest.

✭✭✭✭✭NO - I'm Not Excited to Play Mag SorcCan't remember the last time MagSorc received some buffs rather than nerfs. I think the last time was in december 2016. That misguided rune cage incident was not a buff in my book, it should have never happened.
I wish we would get that templar treatment at least. They get nerfed, but always compensated for it, they never seem to receive pure nerfs.
