It's already established lore.
Also, the Elder Scrolls games first began way back in 1994. World of Warcraft didn't start until 2004. (Announced in 2001.)

2. ZOS isn't trying to be like Blizzard by doing something that every developer does (almost every continously updated game has a "meet the character" feature)
3. Werewolves aren't unique to the Warcraft universe
Yes, you're right. I knew "Silver Dawn" didn't quite sound right.VaranisArano wrote: »SydneyGrey wrote: »The Silver Dawn was in the game Skyrim before ESO existed. It wasn't created new for ESO.

That'd be the Silver Hand who hate werewolves. (Krev the Skinner was a nasty boss.) Or the Dawnguard who hate vampires.

For example, the Meet the Character - Commander Varian article had several major red flags, from the Order of the Silver Dawn (an obvious attempt to parody the Order of the Silver Hand), to Varian (which is fittingly also the name of the former High King in World of Warcraft) to Moon Hunter Keep, which is a loose reference to Black Rook Keep in World of Warcraft.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, I happened to check ESO news today and discovered that ZeniMax (either accidentally or intentionally) is now trying to copy World of Warcraft.

If anything, if ZOS was going to rip off world of warcraft, I'd love for them to rip off some of the better class designs and balance philosophies.
I would just like to point out that elderscrolls lore has been around longer than WoW, so thanks blizzard for ripping off elderscrolls!

Warcaft: Orcs and Humans was released in 1994, so both franchises started in the same year.

ZOS is definitely not copying WoW as far as polish, ZOS finds some way to make the game worse every patch...
ESO has these events and it's done so poorly it drives more long time customers away than it attracts. The forums constantly have posts by returning players just utterly disappointed.
Virtually every other mmo i have played (about 40 of them) has made vast improvements by the 2 year mark, zos is 4+ years in and *** show keeps getting worse. Summerset patch broke console for a month and the lag and server performance this weekend is *** pathetic.
