So logging into a new character (xbox NA) I went to the area in Bleakrock where Deathclaw is (just east of the village) and there are roughly 10 randomly named sorcs all in synced ranging the wolves there. Not sure if this is not allowed or what not but I wanted the devs to know outside the normal reporting system.

nothing they can do about it here. You need to report the players in game.

The only effective way to report bots is in the in-game reporting system.

Please do. Bots are evil. :)

Saw one farming nodes on one of the starter islands as I was getting some skyshards. It was stuck and being attacked by a random mob and continued to try and farm the node it was at and was about to get killed when some body nicely came over and "helped". I followed it around to see what it would do and even rushed ahead to pick some up before it got there. Continued on its' route to "check for the node" even though a person would have seen me take it.

I'd like to see any list of bots already banned by ZOS, maybe then I'd start wasting my time on reporting ;).

On Xbox NA here. Was in Camlorn last night with my cousin. We walked in there and were taken back a bit. I have seen bots before (the usual sorcs with their pets out) but I have never seen this many before. Was literally the biggest crowd of bots I have ever seen. They were all attacking werewolves. You could barely see the ground, it was mostly covers with werewolves corpses and bots. I noticed the majority of bots were in the champion level, some were really high up there. For some reason, all the previous bots I have seen are always low levels. The lag was pretty damn bad in there.

I had reported a few I found in other areas. I didn't even know where to begin reporting this mass group. We went into a building for a quest and came back out, and rather quickly, it seemed the bots started clearing out, and more normal players who were questing started coming in.

Since Summerset release I also started noticing single bots on starter islands, running in large circles farming resources. Some of them have routes avoiding mobs, some have routes including mobs (and of course all those bots are templars with 2h sword and Jabs/Uppercut). Base game now includes Morrowind, so those bots are also wearing the disguise from the chapter tutorial.
For random passerby they might look like clueless newbies, but if you follow them a little to observe, you reveal their true nature :D I report each of those any time I see them, and most of times they disappear after few days. Reporting is super easy with BotScanner 2000 addon, just hover the mouse over bot(train), it adds all those names to the list so you can choose and fill report. I'm only not sure which category is the best, Cheating or Other :/ So I report them as cheaters.

I also saw "smart" bots few months ago: using random path and suddenly changing their routes, jumping in random places (as if it's some clueless noob farming). Those cases took me long time to track all patterns of their behaviour to realize it's not controlled by a human. But no bot is safe when I'm on the watch! And yes, those bots disappeared for good soon after my reports.

Crap, I saw one of those templar bots. I followed it for a little while but didn't think to report it because after doing some of that random path crap, even though it was just going node to node, it came in contact with a mob and started attacking with the jab and LA.

I really wish it was a bit faster to report on console. Console bots aren't even advanced, most I've seen just spam heavy attacks while never moving. I report, but this one particular group just won't go away even after weeks. I want to say I've reported them twice a month apart.

@Fischblut ... Where did you see these "smart bots"? In my experience, these sorts of things do not exist. I would like to see them.

You folks on console, I wonder if you'd get more traction if you had multiple people report the obvious bots. Maybe they don't care if the same person makes a report because they probably get a lot of those for regular players every day.

On PC they definitely ban the bots when enough people report them or use these addons to make really good reports like folks mentioned in this thread.
