Ugh, I have trust issues and I’m pretty sure if someone took your gold and never “gifted” you the crown item there’d be nothing you could do about it. Seems too risky for both parties.

All of those values are absurdly low. 100k gold for around $10 bucks, no way. How about 1m fake money for $10 of real money. Thats what you would have to pay me anyway lol. But hey, if people value real money so little, go for it. Crown sellers are getting duped.

But there's no way I'd pay 1m gold for a 1000 crown item. Something has to bend and I suspect it's going to be the way people see their rw money. One man's week is another man's hour.

I've never actually seen anyone in-game offering to sell or buy crowns (PC EU), but then I don't spend much time around the trading hubs. I've only ever seen it discussed on the forum.

I've been buying for 100 gold = 1 crown.

It won't be worth it to everyone, but some people find it very hard to make gold and have spare $$$. I'm more than willing to give them gold and not have to pay that $.

As for fears of being scammed, they are valid, but you can alleviate it some small amount by starting with a small transaction and paying half up front, then half once the item has been delivered.

250k gold for 5000 crowns?.. From the point of someone who likes to buy cosmetics, it would be truly a blessing to meet a person who agrees to gift at this rate on PC EU

Some of the prices in here are insane. So basically one of the large grand houses, furnished for under 1m gold. The person selling shouldn't be allowed real money. Nor do I think you'd even have to consider such an offer. It does sound like a "Too good to be true" offer. I'd be wary.

Not sure i believe someone would be so stupid with their cash, but there again, before playing MMO's, I didn't think folk would pay £75 for inane pixel houses etc.

I think the price depends on the value of crowns for different people in different countries. For example, in my country crowns (and subscription) are very expensive for what they are. If their cost was same number as in dollars/euro but in my native currency... Not only I would never have the need to buy cosmetics for gold - I would be among people who can buy "insane" amount of crowns every month, have every little and big item I even slightly want and don't want from store, and on top of it I would do gifting for other people as well

I am currently offering crowns on PC NA at a rate of 200g/1 crown. This rate will fluctuate during the year especially when crown sales occur, and will likely go up to 250g/crown soon for me as demand is still very high.

According to the current (were not allowed to talk about this) exchange value. 47 gold should equal 1 crown during a crown sale and 78 gold should equal 1 crown at non-sale prices. Furthermore, it is the value of gold that is currently rising now that it can be legitimately converted to crowns and therefore has much higher value than it did when it could only be converted against EULA.

Lots of folks seem to be willing to pay much more gold than this for crown and it is my opinion that they are getting a bad deal.

I might add that I am happy that ZOS has allowed gold to be traded tor crowns though they need to incorporate this into the trading system so people do not get ripped off. I also do not countenance their stance against exchange of in-game products for real world items which I interpret as not legal under real world law.
