It looks like he has impen some of the other damage is right on par. That's too much for one move. Those that condone this should be ashamed. You don't want to play you just want to click a button and win.

This is the antithesis of one-button winning. You have to have a templar drop a nova (not your own nova), and synergize it, with a player in it (its radius sucks), while wearing jewelry traits that otherwise gimp you.

I was in 5 heavy 2 medium, which put my resists at about 21.4k. Also running 2.8k crit resist, so not a squishy build by any means.

For the record, I do agree with the sentiment that this combo requires a lot of setup and thus ought to be strong. I was just shocked more than anything—literally have not ever seen a recap figure that high.

Definitely harmony trait. We’ve messed around with it before and gravity crush is the one that deals the most dmg when stacking harmony.

Heemjas + 3x harmony will hit someone for around 15k. But it’s an AOE. Usually the guy triggering the synergy will do a DBoS and the synergy at the same time.

18k is a little higher than usual but not ridiculously so.

look at the death recap, the synergy was used by a nighblade after soul tethering

I did observe that, but I don't see how the soul tether would have any relevance to the tooltip of the grav crush. It's not as if it adds a damage bonus to subsequent abilities.

I'm very curious as to where this extra 3k damage is coming from.

The 6.9k on the tether indicates to me that he doesn't have crazy-high stats by any means.

Pretty much this. If you run the build and put the teamwork together you deserve the kill.

Alright... I've calmed-down and decided to do some math to compare both skills:

Gravity Crush's tooltip scales with your stats at 1.352x the ratio of Soul Tether, therefore a player with a 6893 Tether should be able to hit 9319 with Crush.

Multiply this by 1.95 (3 harmony—one gold quality, two purple) and you get to about 18.2k damage, almost identical to what appeared on my recap. So I guess it's functioning as intended, at least. Still shocking though...
